Tutti a scuola con Fiab

Da oggi lunedì 20 marzo a giovedì 24 marzo torna in tutta Italia l'iniziativa per promuovere la mobilità attiva tra gli studenti di elementari e medie negli spostamenti casa-scuola

Stili di vita sani e rispetto dell'ambiente sono concetti che si imparano fin da bambini attraverso piccoli gesti e azioni concrete. 

L'iniziativa “Tutti a scuola a piedi o in bicicletta!”, promossa ogni anno da Fiab-Federazione italiana ambiente e bicicletta nella prima settimana di primavera rappresenta un'occasione da non perdere.

L'invito rivolto alle famiglie è quello di provare a lasciare a casa l'auto e percorrere il tragitto casa-scuola insieme ai propri figli a piedi o in bicicletta. Una pratica che può facilmente diventare una sana abitudine a muoversi in modo sostenibile in ambito urbano, che contribuisce a promuovere la salute dei bambini e dei ragazzi e a migliorare la qualità dell'aria nelle nostre città.

Attraverso le numerose associazioni Fiab presenti capillarmente su tutto il territorio nazionale e in collaborazione con diverse scuole, una serie di servizi di “bici-bus” e “pedi-bus” vengono organizzati proprio nella settimana “Tutti a scuola a piedi o in bicicletta!” tra il 20 e il 24 marzo 2023.

From today, Monday 20 March to Thursday 24 March, the initiative to promote active mobility among primary and secondary school students returns throughout Italy

Healthy lifestyles and respect for the environment are concepts that are learned from childhood through small gestures and concrete actions.

The initiative "Everyone to school on foot or by bicycle!", promoted every year by Fiab-Italian Environment and Bicycle Federation in the first week of spring, represents an opportunity not to be missed.

The invitation addressed to families is to try to leave the car at home and travel from home to school together with their children on foot or by bicycle. A practice that can easily become a healthy habit to move sustainably in urban areas, which helps to promote the health of children and young people and improve air quality in our cities.

Through the numerous Fiab associations present throughout the country and in collaboration with various schools, a series of "bike-bus" and "pedi-bus" services are organized during the week "Everyone to school on foot or by bicycle! ” between 20 and 24 March 2023.

Confessioni di un ciclista mascherato

 L'autore di questo libro è un corridore di alto livello, che ha preso parte con successo a tutti i grandi Giri - Francia, Italia, Spagna -, alle Olimpiadi e a tutte le classiche più importanti. Ha raccontato la sua storia ad Antoine Vayer, ex allenatore professionista, ora giornalista di spicco, già collaboratore di Le Monde e Liberation, considerato uno dei più grandi conoscitori di questo mondo. Il motivo per cui il ciclista deve restare anonimo è facile: è ancora in attività e non vuole restare disoccupato. Perché quel che racconta non fa piacere a nessuno. 

Un girone infernale, così viene descritto il sistema del ciclismo professionistico. Il carrozzone festante delle gare, i tifosi lungo le strade e tutta l'epica che accompagna le tappe sono solo uno scenario, dietro cui si svolgono i veri giochi. Molto di quello che va in scena è concordato, sia all'interno delle squadre che tra corridori di squadre avversarie. I ruoli, dal leader al gregario alla nuova promessa, e a volte i risultati, sono spesso assegnati preliminarmente e ben poco è lasciato al caso.

 I ciclisti, vittime e complici di questo sistema, sanno che la carriera ad alti livelli dura poco, un anno vale due per loro, e che non ci vuol molto a venire estromessi dal gioco e perdere valore. Per questo la concorrenza è spietata e ogni atleta è disposto a qualunque sacrificio per restare al top. Vita famigliare, divertimento, vacanze, amicizie, la vita del ciclista è una rinuncia continua. Compresa la salute, perché il doping è dato per scontato da tutti, ciclisti, manager, sponsor. Sono gli stessi che, quando qualcuno viene beccato, gridano allo scandalo. Non lascia nulla all'immaginazione, l'autore. 

Con aneddoti personali e una scrittura diretta che chiama le cose con il loro nome, prende forma un mondo oscuro fatto di scommesse, compravendite - si impara anche a leggere certi gesti che si vedono tra i ciclisti nelle grandi gare - enormi e non sempre puliti giri di soldi, egoismi, ipocrisie, invidie. 
E molta paura.

This is why the competition is fierce and every athlete is willing to make any sacrifice to stay on top. 

Family life, entertainment, holidays, friendships, the life of a cyclist is a continuous sacrifice. Including health, because doping is taken for granted by everyone, cyclists, managers, sponsors. They are the same ones who cry foul when someone gets caught. Leave nothing to the imagination, the author. With personal anecdotes and a direct writing that calls things with their name, a dark world takes shape made up of bets, trading - you also learn to read certain gestures that are seen among cyclists in big races - huge and not always clean laps of money, selfishness, hypocrisy, envy.

Squali 46

 

In onore a Valentino Rossi e all’incantevole borgo di Tavullia nasce il percorso denominato “Squali 46”

Fra le novità 2023, il Comitato Organizzatore della Granfondo Squali Trek ha ideato un terzo percorso, più corto e leggero, adatto a tutti coloro che volessero vivere in prima persona le emozioni della Squali Trek – con bici da corsa, mtb o anche e-bike – senza l’agonismo della gara e l’assillo del cronometro. Un tracciato disegnato pensando ai neofiti e ai turisti appassionati di bici, nato con lo scopo di far “vivere” le bellezze del territorio con il giusto ritmo, assaporando il paesaggio circostante in tutta tranquillità e in piena sicurezza, scortati dalle guide bike.

Il chilometraggio denominato SQUALI 46 sarà appunto di 46 km, numero magico per gli amanti delle moto in quanto emblema iconico di Valentino Rossi, il pilota 9 volte campione del mondo, icona della MotoGP e uno degli sportivi italiani più famosi ed amati di tutti i tempi, a cui è dedicato questo terzo tracciato.

Partenza, come per gli altri due percorsi, dall’Acquario di Cattolica, domenica 14 MAGGIO, con fermata piacevolmente obbligatoria al favoloso ristoro in centro a Tavullia, dove si trova anche il VR46 Store, il negozio di Valentino Rossi con la più ampia collezione di abbigliamento, accessori e merchandising dedicati al Dottore (catalogo completo su www.vr46.com) e ai piloti della VR46 Riders Academy.

Poi si riparte, con calma, in direzione traguardo, a Gabicce Monte, dove sarà possibile partecipare ai festeggiamenti e al ristoro finale a base di pesce azzurro, piadina e birra.

La quota di iscrizione della Squali 46 è di euro 29 e parte del ricavato verrà devoluto alla Prima Coccola, l’associazione nata con lo scopo di dare sostegno alle famiglie dei bambini nati prima del termine di gestazione o affetti da patologie, che necessitano di cure nel Reparto di Terapia Intensiva Neonatale dell’Ospedale di Rimini.

The mileage called SQUALI 46 will be precisely 46 km, a magic number for motorcycle lovers as it is the iconic emblem of Valentino Rossi, the 9-time world champion rider, MotoGP icon and one of the most famous and loved Italian sportsmen of all time. , to whom this third track is dedicated.

Departure, as for the other two routes, from the Cattolica Aquarium, Sunday 14 MAY, with a pleasantly obligatory stop at the fabulous restaurant in the center of Tavullia, where there is also the VR46 Store, the Valentino Rossi shop with the largest collection of clothing, accessories and merchandising dedicated to the Doctor (complete catalog on www.vr46.com) and to the riders of the VR46 Riders Academy.

Then we leave again, calmly, towards the finish line, in Gabicce Monte, where it will be possible to participate in the celebrations and at the final refreshment based on blue fish, piadina and beer.

The registration fee for Squali 46 is 29 euros and part of the proceeds will be donated to Prima Coccola, the association created with the aim of giving support to the families of children born before the end of pregnancy or suffering from pathologies, who need treatment in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Rimini Hospital.
