Accessori indispensabili per MTB

 Vi presentiamo alcuni accessori indispensabili da portare sempre con sè quando si esce in bici:

Smontavalvole
Tante pompette che ci portiamo nello zaino devono venire avvitate alla valvola per permettere di pompare aria nella gomma. Svitandole, può capitare che anche l’anima della valvola si sviti, facendo fuoriuscire tutta l’aria faticosamente immessa. Senza uno smontavalvole per avvitare saldamente l’anima sarà praticamente impossibile completare l’operazione. Viene dato in dotazione a tutte le ruote o alle valvole, oppure chiedete al vostro negoziante di fiducia di darvene uno, ne avrà tantissimi.

Parafango

Ormai diventato un must a livello estetico, il parafango posto sulla forcella non ci evita solamente di mangiare fango, ma ha una importante funzione protettiva nei confronti della forcella, salvaguardando i parapolvere dall’accumulo di sporco e detriti. Vi farà risparmiare dei bei soldini in termini di intervalli di manutenzione.

Fascia velcro
Portare con sé una camera d’aria è necessario anche se si usano copertoni tubeless latticizzati. Se la gomma viene squarciata, non c’è vermicello che tenga e sarà necessario usare la combinazione camera d’aria + pezza  per riuscire a tornare a casa. Entrambe trovano posto sul telaio, in particolare se non usate lo zaino, grazie ad una robusta fascia velcro.

Kit vermicelli
Ce ne sono di tantissimi tipi e marchi: i vermicelli, con il relativo cacciavitino per inserirli nel copertone e tappare il buco, permettono di riparare le forature di piccole e medie dimensioni in una configurazione tubeless senza neanche dover smontare la gomma.

Multitool nel cannotto della forcella o sul telaio
Avere il multitool a portata di mano è una bella comodità per quelle modifiche che si fanno al volo durante una pedalata, come regolare la posizione delle leve dei freni. Alcuni telai vengono venduti con la soluzione incorporata.

Portaborraccia
C’era un periodo, nella storia della mountain bike in cui venivano costruite bici in cui non trovava spazio neanche un attacco per il portaborraccia. Ormai ci sono delle full che ne hanno addirittura due. Fondamentale per risparmiare peso sulle spalle, soprattutto se si vive in zone dove l’acqua non scarseggia.

Valve changer

Many pumps that we carry in our backpack must be screwed to the valve to allow air to be pumped into the rubber. Fender

By now becoming a must in terms of aesthetics, the mudguard placed on the fork not only prevents us from eating mud, but has an important protective function towards the fork, safeguarding the dust guards from the accumulation of dirt and debris. It will save you good money in terms of maintenance intervals.

Velcro band

Carrying an inner tube is also necessary if you use latex tubeless tyres. If the tire is torn open, there is no vermicelli that holds and it will be necessary to use the combination of inner tube + patch to be able to return home. Both find their place on the frame, especially if you don't use a backpack, thanks to a sturdy velcro band.

Vermicelli kits

There are many types and brands: the vermicelli, with the relative screwdriver to insert them into the tire and plug the hole, allow you to repair small and medium-sized punctures in a tubeless configuration without even having to disassemble the tire.

Multitool in the steerer tube or on the frame

Having the multitool close at hand is a nice convenience for those changes that you make on the fly during a ride, such as adjusting the position of the brake levers. Some frames are sold with the built-in solution.

Bottle cage

There was a time in the history of mountain biking when bikes were built that didn't even have room for a bottle cage mount. Now there are full houses that even have two. Fundamental to save weight on your shoulders, especially if you live in areas where water is not scarce.
