ITALIANI PIU' GREEN

 E' quanto emerge dalla prima edizione dell'Auto & Mobility Barometer del Gruppo Europ Assistance, secondo cui, anche se il 97% degli italiani possiede un'auto (il dato piu' alto in Europa, precedendo il Portogallo con il 92%), ma aumenta la propensione all'acquisto di veicoli elettrici (39%) nonostante le preoccupazioni per costi, autonomia e ricarica.

Inoltre, e' in aumento il numero di chi si sposta a piedi (il 96% del campione intervistato, contro la media del 94% nei Paesi coinvolti nell'indagine). In rialzo anche il numero di chi sceglie mezzi sostenibili, come la bicicletta (52%) o il monopattino (26%). Il post-pandemia ha fatto anche registrare un incremento nell'uso degli altri mezzi sostenibili di micromobilita': l'Italia e' il quarto Paese, dopo Spagna, Portogallo e Francia, con il piu' alto numero di nuovi utilizzatori (35%) e dove il 17% degli intervistati dichiara di possedere un monopattino. Guardando avanti, gli italiani prevedono di camminare di piu' e aumentare l'uso delle due ruote, ma anche dei mezzi di trasporto pubblico, in controtendenza rispetto agli altri Paesi europei. In generale sono, pero', ancora molti coloro che si dichiarano riluttanti ad abbandonare definitivamente l'auto di proprieta', anche se gli italiani si dimostrano fra i piu' inclini a farlo (41%).

This is what emerges from the first edition of the Auto & Mobility Barometer of the Europ Assistance Group, according to which, even if 97% of Italians own a car (the highest figure in Europe, preceding Portugal with 92%), but the propensity to purchase electric vehicles is increasing (39%) despite concerns about costs, range and recharging.

Furthermore, the number of people who travel on foot is increasing (96% of the sample interviewed, against the average of 94% in the countries involved in the survey). Also on the rise is the number of those who choose sustainable means, such as the bicycle (52%) or the scooter (26%). The post-pandemic has also seen an increase in the use of other sustainable means of micromobility: Italy is the fourth country, after Spain, Portugal and France, with the highest number of new users (35%) and where 17% of those interviewed declare that they own a scooter. Looking ahead, Italians expect to walk more and increase the use of two wheels, but also of public transport, in contrast with other European countries. In general, however, there are still many who declare themselves reluctant to definitively abandon their own car, even if the Italians prove to be among the most inclined to do so (41%).
