Pedalando 15 ore al giorno, affrontando la strada un chilometro dopo l’altro, Jenny ha attraversato quattro continenti, toccando 16 paesi, e forse si è finalmente data la risposta a una domanda che le ronzava in testa da qualche tempo: «Quanto lontano posso arrivare?».
Di sicuro almeno 29mila chilometri, tanti sono quelli che ha percorso Jenny.
Ha attraversato la porta di Brandeburgo esattamente 19 giorni prima del record di Paola Gianotti, che ha percorso le stesse strade prima di lei nel 2014 impiegandoci 144 giorni, passando la linea del traguardo dopo 124 giorni e ora attende solo la conferma dal Guinness dei Primati per certificare la sua impresa.
Ci sono voluti quasi 3 anni per temprare la sua resistenza, fisica e mentale, e perché l’idea dell’impresa prendesse corpo.
