E mai erano stati legati all'obbligo contestuale di rinunciare all'uso dell'auto.

"Leave your car, buy an electric bike: we'll give you 4 thousand euros": the French government has just launched a super incentive to make mobility greener. A strong message because - in fact - there is a strong focus on fighting the car.
It is not a question of state aid to switch from a polluting car to a more ecological one, but of an economic maneuver to push citizens to repudiate the use of the car.

This incentive mechanism in France will make the eBike market fly and also marks a turning point for the pedal assisted two-wheeler market: aid for electric bikes is not new (they have been around for five years), but never they had arrived at similar figures.
And they had never been linked to the contextual obligation to give up the use of the car.
Not only that: the "absolute" incentive has also been set: 400 euros for those who scrap a car without buying anything.
