Yamaha da tanti anni è tra i nomi protagonisti della rivoluzione delle e-bike, soprattutto quando si parla di alte prestazione e eMTB, la versione elettrica delle mountain bike. Dopo aver solleticato l'interesse degli appassionati con prototipi e vari studi di design, la casa giapponese è pronta per entrare sul mercato con le sue sole forse, per produrre un'intera eMTB.

È nata così la Moro 07, una all-mountain con 150 millimetri di escursione. Yamaha descrive lo sviluppo della bici e del telaio come olistico, ovvero in modo coordinato per far sì che i vari componenti lavorino all'unisono, per offrire migliori prestazioni. La chiave di tutto è il telaio Dual Twin, che si basa sulle moto Yamaha campioni del mondo, in cui il tubo orizzontale si divide in due e nasconde l'attacco dell'ammortizzatore.

Le sospensioni sono affidate a RockShox, con la forcella Lyric Select RC da 160 mm di escursione, e l'ammortizzatore Super Deluxe Select+ RT, Deboair e 150 mm di di travel. La trasmissione invece è tutta a marchio Shimano, con un mix di Shimano SL/RD e Deore XT M8100, a 12 velocità e cassetta Hyperglide+. I freni sono Magura MT5 a 4 pistoncini, con dischi da 203 mm. Al momento i prezzi sono ancora sconosciuti, ma le bici dovrebbero arrivare ai rivenditori entro fine anno.

The suspension is entrusted to RockShox, with the Lyric Select RC fork with 160 mm of travel, and the Super Deluxe Select + RT shock, Deboair and 150 mm of travel. The transmission instead is all Shimano brand, with a mix of Shimano SL / RD and Deore XT M8100, 12-speed and Hyperglide + cassette. The brakes are Magura MT5 4-piston, with 203mm discs. Prices are still unknown at the moment, but the bikes are expected to hit retailers by the end of the year.
