Una riflessione esistenziale, sportiva e antropologica quella che offre l’artista Mauro Castellani che oggi sabato 5 ottobre inaugura la sua mostra “Biciclette in movimento tra forma e colore” alla Libreria Gioberti alle ore 17, via Gioberti, 37/a.
Castellani espone quattordici fotografie di grande formato che privilegiano il colore e l’estetica, e sono una parte di una serie molto più ampia che indaga anche gli aspetti sociali, oltre che storici e sportivi, di questo mezzo a due ruote salva ambiente.
“Il mio amico Leonardo – dice l’artista – mi aveva chiesto di fotografare biciclette. Dopo i primi scatti incominciai a riflettere sulla storia e sulle storie che ruotano intorno a questa diffusissima compagna dell’uomo. Ne è nato un lavoro che ha considerato i differenti usi che se ne fanno e le cose, anche bizzarre, che si possono dire su di essa”.

Castellani exhibits fourteen large-format photographs that favor color and aesthetics, and are a part of a much broader series that also investigates the social, as well as historical and sporting, aspects of this environmentally friendly two-wheeler.
"My friend Leonardo - the artist says - asked me to photograph bicycles. After the first shots I began to reflect on history and the stories that revolve around this widespread companion of man. The result was a work that considered the different uses that are made of it and the things, even bizarre ones, that can be said about it ”.
