Magnetic Assisted Tap

Sitael is now also landing in the rapidly growing segment of electric bicycles.

The company from Puglia has created the Magnetic Assisted Tap (Mat), a magnetic docking station, which will be launched on the international market in March and which connects and protects e-bikes.

The Mat transforms each electric bike into a connected vehicle that comes to life with a single smartphone gesture. So the magnetic docking station, integrating the electronics with GPS and GPRS modules, provides connectivity to e-bikes in a completely wireless mode.

By simply placing the smartphone on the upper surface of the Mat, the vehicle becomes usable: it switches on automatically, unlocks the rear wheel safety system and disables the satellite alarm.

The smartphone becomes the key, the display and the vital center of the electric bike.

The Magnetic Assisted Tap is water resistant, has been tested at extreme temperatures (-20 ° C, + 85 ° C) and subjected to vibrational tests with vertical shocks up to 70 g of force.
