Rimango a casa tour

The project "Rimango a casa tour" was born from an idea by Cristian D'Emilio, the young man from Riccione - one of the founders of Radio Bakery - who last summer decided to ride the bike inherited from his father to go on a personal tour made of four stages, from Cesenatico to Bagno di Romagna, then Santarcangelo to Cattolica, to discover the roots (hence the title of the film) but with a direct gaze on the future. Hence the documentary film of the same name was born, the story of a bicycle trip in the heart of Romagna, four friends who cross Romagna from the sea to the hills with the aim of enhancing our splendid hinterland.

"In this adventure two musicians accompanied me, Luca Staccoli and Samuele Vichi (Nobraino), in addition to the director Luca Baggiarini - says Cristian - everything was born for my passion for my Romagna, my home, to do it justice I tied, in this project, the bicycle, therefore sport, music, which I have always done and will continue to do and the journey ».

Cristian has faced this "journey" aboard a special bicycle, that of his father, from which he inherited his passion for this sport, "he wanted to travel - he says - and for various vicissitudes he did not succeed, he left me this legacy desire that I try to fulfill in the best way ».

The journey lasted four days, up to Cattolica, a stage that was added in fieri, while the project was gradually being implemented. "By bike I was the only one traveling - says Cristian - the boys accompanied me in the car and when we arrived at our destination in the evening, we mounted the stage, played live for the public, then we disassembled it and left again".
But everything did not go smoothly because the bike held, it was the car that "gave in": "At Passo del Carnaio, the one to get to Bagno di Romagna, a stage of 85 km, one of the boys was the first point from a bee, then I arrived quite calm, but the car was 'out' and the engine came out of smoke. We called a mechanic friend of ours and, with a few tips and the date, we put it back a bit, luckily the next stage was downhill and we brought it home. "

The tour was born with the desire to disclose the story of the area so talking to people was essential to give a more precise idea. "The approach to the life of the people of the hinterland is different, and it was fundamental for us to tell it. Places, traditions, "all that is beyond the railway", a variety of products, landscapes, hospitality, all different that deserve to be known and valued ".

The soundtrack is signed by the band No Longer Player with songs entirely written by Cristian, inspired by his various trips, arranged by the group and produced by Radio Bakery, as an agency «with my partners, Fabio Ubaldi, Lucia Mazza and Luca Oliva , we give a lot of space to the enhancement of the territory, we work on marketing linked to tourism and on this we are consistent in our projects ».
