Tramonti in bicicletta

 Da Palermo alla Vetta d'Italia.
Un viaggio solitario in bicicletta dopo l'isolamento del 2020 per riscoprire le bellezze dell'Italia risalendo lentamente lo stivale. Nessuna programmazione, nessuna tappa obbligata: solamente tanti pensieri.

Pedalare aiuta moltissimo a scrivere, a recuperare i pensieri, a mettere in ordine le idee. Libertà è un concetto talmente volatile da non poter essere fissato su un foglio di carta. Ha bisogno di essere respirata tra la polvere, il sole accecante, il caldo cocente, la pioggia fredda e il vento gelido di una strada.

E andare in bicicletta è questo. È libertà. È felicità. È rapportarsi in maniera diretta e senza alcun intermediario con l'ambiente che ci circonda, entro cui sei immerso e dove non desideri altro che rimanerci quanto più a lungo possibile.
È sofferenza.
E talvolta questa sofferenza diventa dolore.
Ed è bellissimo.

Pedaling helps a lot to write, to recover thoughts, to put ideas in order. Freedom is such a volatile concept that it cannot be fixed on a sheet of paper. It needs to be breathed in the dust, the blinding sun, the scorching heat, the cold rain and the icy wind of a road. And that's what cycling is all about. It is freedom. It is happiness.

 It is to relate directly and without any intermediary with the environment that surrounds us, in which you are immersed and where you want nothing more than to stay there as long as possible.
It is suffering.
And sometimes this suffering becomes pain.
And it's beautiful.
