E-kit

Livall Pikaboost, kit “plug and play si monta in pochi secondi su qualsiasi bici.

The world of electric bikes is constantly expanding, there are special conversion kits on the market, which allow you to transform any normal bicycle into an e-bike.

Livall Pikaboost, "plug and play" kit mounts in seconds on any bike.

Livall has created this new product which, as now very often happens for new inventions to be launched on the market, has been uploaded to a crowdfunding platform. Funds are clearly needed to finance the research and development necessary to make the new kit a real and therefore salable product on the market. Pikaboost is an all-in-one motor/battery/controller that goes to work on the rear wheel of the bicycle. It can be mounted on any bike and transforms it into an e-bike in seconds.

The most significant advantage is that a specialized mechanic or technician is not needed, because the assembly in this case can be performed by anyone. It takes less than a minute to assemble everything and the kit can be moved from one bike to another in just a few seconds, without tools and/or expert personnel.

The Pikaboost can be secured to the bicycle on the seat tube, thanks to a particular locking mechanism that was devised by the designers themselves. And that's not all, because the new e-bike conversion kit also boasts a vibration absorption system that makes the attachment stable in any condition; in this way it is impossible for the kit to lose contact with the wheel or become detached from the bike.

The AAR technology, Automatic Adaptive Rate, manages assistance; specifically, these are sensors and software which, with use, learn to manage assistance dynamically and adapt it to specific situations and needs while driving. The kit fits perfectly on any tire and bicycle. The battery consists of 18 18650 lithium cells of 3.5 Ah for a total of 234 Wh. The Pikaboost weighs only 3 kg and guarantees a range of 30 kilometres.

The new conversion kit for electric bikes uses an energy recovery system that acts differently depending on the assistance mode chosen: Cruise, constant assistance and recovers energy only when going downhill, Roll mode, recovers energy even on level ground and provides only uphill assistance, Exercise, constant energy recovery. Brake, skid and fall sensors are the safety systems, which allow you to interrupt the thrust of the engine. The integrated rear light also works as a brake light, thanks to the connection with the brake lever. For the crowdfunding campaign, a basic contribution can be paid starting from 299 dollars, the first lenders will receive the kit from March 2023.
