Calendar Longtail Max

 Tutta la famiglia in bicicletta. Con questo obiettivo Audrey e Frédéric Tran hanno fondato a Lieurey, un piccolo comune della Normandia, “Mon Bicloune Électrique”, azienda per la produzione di bici “speciali”. Nel loro laboratorio è nata la Calendar Longtail Max, quella che potrebbe essere definita la “station wagon” delle biciclette, grazie alla capacità di accogliere nella parte posteriore altri due passeggeri oppure varie mercanzie.

Ma la particolarità di questa e-bike con motore da 250W nel mozzo posteriore e batteria al litio (36V/10.4 Ah 360 Wh, per un’autonomia di 40-50 km), è che dalla lunghezza standard di 196 centimetri può essere ripiegata in pochi secondi passando a un ingombro complessivo di 60 x 124 x 89 cm. In questo modo la Longtail Max può essere facilmente trasportata (o riposta) come una grossa valigia, grazie anche alla presenza delle rotelle incorporate negli angoli posteriori delle strutture laterali.

E le sorprese non sono ancora finite poiché per incrementare il fattore sicurezza tutto il telaio viene verniciato con una speciale vernice fotoluminescente. In configurazione trasporto passeggeri la parte posteriore della bicicletta è equipaggiata con due sedili imbottiti e uno schiena lino, protetti da un telaietto tubolare (indispensabile per il trasporto in sicurezza dei bambini), mentre per il trasporto merci possono essere montati box di varie dimensioni.

La Longtail Max è dotata di un robusto telaio in alluminio 6061 (portata max 200 kg), ampio display a colori, cerchi in alluminio da 20 pollici, freni a disco idraulici Magura Mt Estop a 4 pistoncini, cambio Shimano a 7 rapporti, pedali pieghevoli, parafango anteriore e posteriore, per un peso totale da 29,5 a 35 kg (in base alla configurazione).

But the peculiarity of this e-bike with a 250W motor in the rear hub and lithium battery (36V / 10.4 Ah 360 Wh, for a range of 40-50 km), is that from the standard length of 196 cm it can be folded in a few seconds passing to an overall size of 60 x 124 x 89 cm. In this way the Longtail Max can be easily transported (or stored) like a large suitcase, thanks also to the presence of the wheels incorporated in the rear corners of the side structures.

And the surprises are not over yet because to increase the safety factor the whole frame is painted with a special photoluminescent paint. In the passenger transport configuration, the rear part of the bicycle is equipped with two padded seats and a linen back, protected by a tubular frame (essential for the safe transport of children), while boxes of various sizes can be mounted for the transport of goods.

The Longtail Max features a sturdy 6061 aluminum frame (max load 200 kg), large color display, 20-inch aluminum wheels, Magura Mt Estop 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes, 7-speed Shimano gearbox, foldable pedals , front and rear fenders, for a total weight of 29.5 to 35 kg (depending on the configuration).
