Aspettando il Tour de France

 E’ la prima volta nella storia, che l’evento ciclistico più importante del mondo, il Tour de France, parte dall’Italia.

1° tappa: 29. 06. 2024 Firenze – Rimini
2° tappa: 30. 06. 2024 Cesenatico – Bologna
3° tappa: 01. 07. 2024 Bologna- Piacenza

Per celebrare questo evento, abbiamo invitato l’amico Claudio Chiappucci, che conosce bene il Tour de France, visto che ha vinto tre tappe e nel 1992, dopo un fuga di 200 Km, arrivò primo sul traguardo del Sestriere, considerando questa impresa tra le più grandi nella storia del ciclismo mondiale. 

 🚴 Il 29 giugno 2024 per la prima volta nella sua storia il Tour de France passerà nella Repubblica di San Marino nella tappa che parte da Firenze e si chiude a Rimini.

 Il primo ciclista dovrebbe entrare in Repubblica attorno alle 15.20 e le strade saranno chiuse a partire dalle 12.30. La Superstrada sarà aperta in salita fino alla rotatoria per Acquaviva. Attorno alle 17 tutti i ciclisti e il seguito della gara dovrebbero essere usciti dal confine di Dogana in direzione Rimini.

 La tappa Firenze/Rimini è particolarmente lunga, il tratto sammarinese è quello compreso tra il 168esimo e il 190esimo chilometro e prevede, all’altezza di Porta del Paese il traguardo del Gran Premio della Montagna. Sullo stradone, sarà posizionato un maxischermo per i turisti che trasmetterà le immagini della tappa dalla partenza all’arrivo mentre nel Piazzale della Stazione sarà posizionata l’hospitality “relais etaipe” per ospiti, sponsor e autorità.

🗣 Teodoro Lonfernini (Segretario di Stato per lo Sport): “Sarà un momento storico per lo sport sammarinese, il Tour de France è in assoluto uno degli eventi più seguti a livello globale, è trasmesso da centinaia di emittenti televisive e seguito da migliaia di giornalisti da tutto il mondo. Dobbiamo esserne orgogliosi di essere riusciti ad avere il Tour sulle nostre strade, purtroppo è un evento quasi unico, passerà tanto tempo prima che possa ricapitare… Devo dire che io e il collega con delega al Turismo Federico Pedini Amati siamo onorati di essere stati coinvolti in un evento di tale portata, questo conferma i buoni rapporti con Toscana ed Emilia Romagna e l’attrattività del nostro territorio e dei nostri paesaggi. 

It is the first time in history that the most important cycling event in the world, the Tour de France, starts from Italy.

Stage 1: 29.06.2024 Florence - Rimini

Stage 2: 30.06.2024 Cesenatico - Bologna

Stage 3: 01.07.2024 Bologna - Piacenza

To celebrate this event, we have invited our friend Claudio Chiappucci, who is familiar with the Tour de France as he won three stages and in 1992, after a 200 km escape, finished first at the Sestriere finish line, considering it one of the greatest achievements in the history of world cycling.

🚴 On 29 June 2024, for the first time in its history, the Tour de France will pass through the Republic of San Marino in the stage that starts from Florence and ends in Rimini.

 The first cyclist should enter Repubblica around 3.20pm and the roads will be closed from 12.30pm. The highway will be open uphill until the roundabout for Acquaviva. Around 5pm all the cyclists and the rest of the race should have left the Customs border towards Rimini.

 The Florence/Rimini stage is particularly long, the San Marino stretch is between the 168th and 190th kilometer and includes the finish line of the Mountain Grand Prix at Porta del Paese. On the main road, a giant screen will be positioned for tourists which will broadcast images of the stage from departure to arrival, while in the station square the "relais etaipe" hospitality will be positioned for guests, sponsors and authorities.

We must be proud of having managed to have the Tour on our roads, unfortunately it is an almost unique event, it will be a long time before it can happen again... I must say that my colleague in charge of Tourism Federico Pedini Amati and I are honored to have been involved in an event of this magnitude, this confirms the good relations with Tuscany and Emilia Romagna and the attractiveness of our territory and our landscapes.
