 Marco Pinotti ci porta in sella con lui, sui pedali nella salita dello Stelvio, sotto la pioggia sulle cótes della Liegi-Bastogne-Liegi, a perdicollo lungo le strade bianche toscane, in perfetto assetto da cronoman per sfidare il decimo di secondo, nell'atmosfera rarefatta del Villaggio Olimpico o lungo le strade bergamasche, mete dei suoi allenamenti "casalinghi". Ci racconta il mondo del ciclismo dall'interno, dalla pancia del gruppo. 

Ne esce la descrizione di un universo multicolore, una sorta di circo itinerante che si sposta in vari luoghi del mondo - dal Qatar a Maiorca, dalla Malesia alla California, dalle Fiandre all'Australia - con uno stuolo di addetti ai lavori: dai direttori sportivi ai meccanici, dagli organizzatori ai giornalisti agli sponsor ai massaggiatori...

 Uscendo da questa sorta di internazionale viaggiante il ciclista prova tutta la fatica di uno sport individuale e collettivo al contempo dove le cadute sono messe a contratto, il cibo è carburante e spauracchio, la precarietà è garantita, il doping è una tentazione da evitare e a ogni colpo di pedale si accende la passione per una disciplina popolare, vicina alla gente, ancora ad altezza uomo.

Marco Pinotti takes us on the saddle with him, on the pedals on the Stelvio climb, in the rain on the Liège-Bastogne-Liege cótes, at breakneck speed along the Tuscan white roads, in perfect time trial setup to challenge the tenth of a second, in the rarefied atmosphere of the Olympic Village or along the streets of Bergamo, the destinations of his "home" workouts.  What emerges is the description of a multicolored universe, a sort of traveling circus that moves to various places in the world - from Qatar to Majorca, from Malaysia to California, from Flanders to Australia - with a bevy of insiders: from sports directors to the mechanics, from the organizers to the journalists to the sponsors to the masseurs... 

Coming out of this sort of traveling international the cyclist experiences all the effort of an individual and collective sport at the same time where falls are contracted, food is fuel and bogeyman, precariousness is guaranteed, doping is a temptation to be avoided and every pedal stroke ignites the passion for a popular discipline, close to the people, still at eye level.

In futuro, stiamo pensando di creare un team in Italia per far crescere le nostre attività” dice Jonas.

ITALIANI PIU' GREEN

 E' quanto emerge dalla prima edizione dell'Auto & Mobility Barometer del Gruppo Europ Assistance, secondo cui, anche se il 97% degli italiani possiede un'auto (il dato piu' alto in Europa, precedendo il Portogallo con il 92%), ma aumenta la propensione all'acquisto di veicoli elettrici (39%) nonostante le preoccupazioni per costi, autonomia e ricarica.

Inoltre, e' in aumento il numero di chi si sposta a piedi (il 96% del campione intervistato, contro la media del 94% nei Paesi coinvolti nell'indagine). In rialzo anche il numero di chi sceglie mezzi sostenibili, come la bicicletta (52%) o il monopattino (26%). Il post-pandemia ha fatto anche registrare un incremento nell'uso degli altri mezzi sostenibili di micromobilita': l'Italia e' il quarto Paese, dopo Spagna, Portogallo e Francia, con il piu' alto numero di nuovi utilizzatori (35%) e dove il 17% degli intervistati dichiara di possedere un monopattino. Guardando avanti, gli italiani prevedono di camminare di piu' e aumentare l'uso delle due ruote, ma anche dei mezzi di trasporto pubblico, in controtendenza rispetto agli altri Paesi europei. In generale sono, pero', ancora molti coloro che si dichiarano riluttanti ad abbandonare definitivamente l'auto di proprieta', anche se gli italiani si dimostrano fra i piu' inclini a farlo (41%).
