5.Trek Madone 7 Diamond

Al quinto posto troviamo la Trek Madone 7 Diamond, placcata in oro 14 carati, questa bici prende il nome però dai 7 diamanti Gemesis da un carato che decorano il suo stemma.
Realizzata da Trek Bikes in collaborazione con Nike, il gioielliere Alan Friedman e l’artista Lenny Futura, la Trek Madone 7 Diamond è stata messa all’asta nel 2005 alla Lance Armstrong Foundation Gala di New York in cui è stata venduta alla bellezza di appena 75.000$ (quasi 66.000€).

4.Aurumania Crystal Edition

Con 114.400$ (poco più di 100.000€), si aggiudica il quarto posto la Aurumania Crystal Edition. Interamente realizzata a mano, questa bicicletta da corsa ha un telaio tutto placcato d’oro 24 carati ed è arricchita da ben 600 cristalli Swarovsky.
La sella e le impugnature sono tutte rivestite in pelle di alta qualità e nella parte anteriore si trova anche un distintivo in pelle che riporta il numero della bici in edizione limitata (sono stati realizzati solo dieci pezzi).

3.KAWS Trek Madone

Sale sul podio in terza posizione la KAWS Trek Madone che, realizzata appositamente per celebrare la partecipazione di Lance Armstrong alla corsa di Milano nel 2009.
Questa bici, personalizzata dal noto artista KAWS, presenta sul telaio e sui cerchi della bici il caratteristico disegno dei denti “chomper” dell’artista. La KAWS Trek Madone vanta una fantastica aerodinamicità, accessori straordinari, compresa una completa customizzazione del telaio, e supporta carichi elevati. All’asta ha ottenuto 160.000$ (140.000€).

 

2.Trek Yoshitomo Nara

Alla posizione numero due, con ben 200.000$ (175.000€) all’asta di Sotheby’s, troviamo la Trek Yoshitomo Nara. Opera esclusiva del modello Speed, è stata realizzata dall’artista contemporaneo giapponese Yoshitomo Nara che l’ha decorata con fumetti di bambini in guantoni da boxe, UFO volanti e un logo Livestrong.
Anch’essa guidata da Lance Armsotring nella 18° tappa del Tour de France, ha una struttura in fibra di carbonio che la rende ideale per le alte velocità.

 

1.Trek Butterfly Madone

Ad accaparrarsi la medaglia d’oro come bicicletta da corsa più costosa al mondo è la Trek Butterfly Madone che è stata battuta all’asta benefica per il cancro di Sotheby’s per 500.000$ (440.000€).
Esemplare unico al mondo, anche questa bicicletta è stata usata da Lance Armstrong durante il Tour de France del 2009. Ma il suo prezzo non deriva “soltanto” dalla possibilità di customizzare ogni pezzo, dalle avanzate tecnologie utilizzate per la sua realizzazione e, ovviamente, dal fatto che sia stata guidata da Armstrong, ma anche dal fatto che la sua decorazione è stata affidata all’artista britannico Damien Hirst.
L’unico problema è stato che l’artista ha utilizzato vere farfalle che ha attaccato al telaio e alle ruote della bici scatenando, comprensibilmente, l’ira di People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) che l’ha definita una “orribile barbarie”.

5.Trek Madone 7 Diamond

In fifth place we find the Trek Madone 7 Diamond, plated in 14 carat gold, this bike takes its name, however, from the 7 one-carat Gemesis diamonds that decorate her emblem.
Made by Trek Bikes in collaboration with Nike, jeweler Alan Friedman and artist Lenny Futura, the Trek Madone 7 Diamond was auctioned off in 2005 at the Lance Armstrong Foundation Gala in New York where it sold for just $75,000 (almost €66,000).

4.Aurumania Crystal Edition

With $114,400 (just over €100,000), the Aurumania Crystal Edition takes fourth place. Entirely handmade, this racing bicycle has a 24-karat gold-plated frame and is enriched with 600 Swarovsky crystals.
The saddle and grips are all covered in high-quality leather and there is also a leather badge on the front which bears the number of the limited edition bike (only ten pieces were made).

3.KAWS Trek Madone

The KAWS Trek Madone climbs on the podium in third position, specially created to celebrate Lance Armstrong's participation in the Milan race in 2009
This bike, customized by the well-known artist KAWS, features the artist's characteristic "chomper" tooth design on the frame and on the bike's rims. The KAWS Trek Madone boasts fantastic aerodynamics, extraordinary accessories, including a complete customization of the frame, and supports high loads. At auction, it fetched $160,000 (€140,000).

2.Trek Yoshitomo Nara

In position number two, with a good $200,000 (€175,000) at Sotheby's auction, we find the Trek Yoshitomo Nara. An exclusive work of the Speed model, it was created by the Japanese contemporary artist Yoshitomo Nara who decorated it with cartoons of children in boxing gloves, flying UFOs and a Livestrong logo.
Also ridden by Lance Armsotring in the 18th stage of the Tour de France, it has a carbon fiber structure which makes it ideal for high speeds.

Taking the gold medal as the most expensive racing bicycle in the world is the Trek Butterfly Madone which went under the hammer at a cancer charity auction at Sotheby's for $500,000 (€440,000).
Unique in the world, this bicycle was also used by Lance Armstrong during the 2009 Tour de France. But its price does not derive "only" from the possibility of customizing each piece, from the advanced technologies used for its construction and, obviously, by the fact that it was led by Armstrong, but also by the fact that its decoration was entrusted to the British artist Damien Hirst.
The only problem was that the artist used real butterflies which he attached to the bike's frame and wheels, understandably drawing the ire of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) who called it a "horrible barbarism".

in passato il legislatore italiano aveva mostrato amore verso la bici. Un bonus bicicletta per chi ne avesse acquistata una ma che poi non è stato più rifinanziato nemmeno con l’ultima legge di bilancio 2023.

Ecco allora che alcune amministrazioni locali hanno deciso in autonomia. Tra queste il Friuli Venezia Giulia, che proprio al fine di ridurre l’inquinamento atmosferico e migliorare la qualità dell’aria, ha stanziato fondi da destinare ad un bonus bicicletta 2023 per i propri abitanti.

Il bonus, si sostanzia in un contributo concesso a chi acquista, a partire dall’11 novembre 2022:

• una bicicletta a propulsione esclusivamente muscolare nuova di fabbrica conforme alle prescrizioni del Codice della strada. In questo caso il contributo concesso è del 30% del prezzo di acquisto, comprensivo di IVA, fino a un massimo di 200 euro per ciascun richiedente
• una bicicletta elettrica a pedalata assistita nuova di fabbrica conforme alle prescrizioni del Codice della strada. Anche qui, il bonus è pari al 30% del prezzo di acquisto, comprensivo di IVA, fino a un massimo di 300 euro per ciascun richiedente.

Il bonus bicicletta 2023 spetta a condizione di essere residenti nel territorio del Friuli Venezia Giulia al momento della presentazione della domanda.

Per la domanda è prevista una finestra temporale che si è aperta il 23 gennaio 2023. Ci sarà ancora tempo per farne richiesta entro il 20 aprile 2023 ore 16:00.

La richiesta deve essere fatta, esclusivamente online alla Camera di commercio nella cui circoscrizione territoriale il richiedente ha la residenza anagrafica. Una volta completata l’istruttoria, il beneficio sarà riconosciuto entro 120 giorni dalla presentazione della richiesta, nei limiti delle risorse disponibili, secondo l’ordine cronologico di presentazione delle domande.

in the past the Italian legislator had shown love for the bike. A bicycle bonus for those who had bought one but then it was no longer refinanced even with the latest 2023 budget law.

Here then is that some local administrations have decided independently. Among these is Friuli Venezia Giulia, which, precisely in order to reduce air pollution and improve air quality, has allocated funds to be allocated to a 2023 bicycle bonus for its inhabitants.

The bonus takes the form of a contribution granted to those who buy, starting from 11 November 2022:

• a new, exclusively muscle-propelled bicycle that complies with the provisions of the Highway Code. In this case the grant granted is 30% of the purchase price, including VAT, up to a maximum of 200 euros for each applicant
• a brand new pedal assisted electric bicycle that complies with the provisions of the Highway Code. Here too, the bonus is equal to 30% of the purchase price, including VAT, up to a maximum of 300 euros for each applicant.

The 2023 bicycle bonus is available on condition that you are resident in the territory of Friuli Venezia Giulia at the time of submitting the application.

There is a time window for the application which opened on 23 January 2023. There will still be time to apply by 20 April 2023 at 16:00.

The request must be made exclusively online to the Chamber of Commerce in whose territorial district the applicant has registered residence. Once the investigation has been completed, the benefit will be recognized within 120 days of the submission of the request, within the limits of available resources, according to the chronological order of submission of the applications.
