Bosch Performance Line Cx

How should an electric bike be considered "ideal"? To answer Bosch gave his vision on the e-Bike of the future. Celebrating 10 years since its first e-Bike assistance system. Here is the novelty e-Bike Design Vision, a concept, a vision, and concentrates the best of the German house technology. The frame is in carbon, a very light but resistant material, the suspensions are completely integrated in the front and rear wheel and the engine is obviously the Bosch Performance Line Cx, the one we find on board many two high-end pedal-assisted wheels.
In the case of the e-Bike Design Vision, the motor has been completely integrated into the frame structure with the lateral cooling channels which produce what Bosch calls a "cooling effect necessary for this powerful and dynamic traction". And one of the novelties of the new Bosch ideas lies in the drive unit management software. The power torque has been improved, of the 2020 engines which are now equipped with a better starting point which facilitates their driving, all the more for the versions (Speed Line and Cargo Line) which can be pushed up to 45 kilometers per hour in the countries where it is required by local regulations. For all the others, even in the limitation of 25 kilometers per hour, the improvement of the starting point allows a more effective pedaling in the starts with low pedaling frequency.
The software update has led the Performance Line CX engine to have even more interesting power characteristics, especially on trail trails that can require moments when you need a lot of strength. In fact, the torque has been increased to 85 Nm to improve performance in the most difficult stretches. The improvement of the software also allows a better start on the dirt road.Even the 625Wh battery is not actually visible, it is integrated in the lower tube and disconnects on the fly to recharge it easily. Here is another invisible helper who is behind the front luggage rack, the Abs Bosch eBike: sudden braking on wet ground is no longer a problem

In addition to a cutting-edge ABS system, the system that Bosch has created helps in driving and prevents you from losing control of the bicycle and falling over by acting on the brakes. But the German company has gone even further thanks to Help Connect, the function that allows you to call emergency services automatically in the event of an accident. This function is part of the COBI.Bike app. The app uses an algorithm that is able to "understand" how serious a fall has been and decides to activate emergency services.
And finally the gem of this e-Bike Design Vision. After all, a vision is not such without a level viewer and we find it there, set on the handlebar, where a 3.2-inch touch display that shows driving data and allows you to control the main functions stands out. This is the new version of the Nyon cycle computer, another novelty of the company ferried by the e-Bike Design Vision. Like any concept, even this one from Bosch could in fact remain only a dream. Difficult to see on the market.
