Mate.SUV

Paesi del nord Europa sono sempre presi come esempio di mobilità, con la loro capacità di utilizzare bici e e-bike in situazioni che per altri cittadini europei sembrerebbero impossibili, ed è dunque naturale che un nuovo prodotto molto interessante sia nato qui, in Danimarca per la precisione.

Ispirata proprio alla cultura danese, e ingegnerizzato con la collaborazione dello studio tedesco Zanzotti Industrial Design, Mate presenta Mate.SUV, il cui nome è chiaramente la spiegazione del suo intento.

Una e-bike che ha come scopo fornire le migliori capacità di carico e di mobilità, tanto da essere dichiaratamente un sostituto per la seconda auto di famiglia, e per alcuni forse anche la prima. Punta su un massiccio spazio cargo anteriore, tanto da costringere i progettisti a puntare sulla configurazione con tre ruote, di cui due anteriori.

Si tratta di un prodotto, una volta tanto, europeo e pensato per l'Europa, quindi in regola con le nostre normative, con 250 W di potenza massima dell'assistenza elettrica, e 25 km/h come limite di velocità in cui il motore elettrico fa sentire il suo supporto. Tutto il resto è forza delle gambe.

L'altezza del rider può essere compresa tra 160 e 210 cm, mentre lo spazio anteriore può ospitare anche un secondo adulto, oppure due bambini, on in alternativa materiale per 210 litri di volume. Mate immagina la sua e-bike con barre anteriori protettive, telo coprimerce, o anche tendina per riparare i passeggeri dalle interperie.

 Northern European countries are always taken as an example of mobility, with their ability to use bikes and e-bikes in situations that would seem impossible for other European citizens, and it is therefore natural that a very interesting new product was born here, in Denmark for accuracy.

Inspired precisely by Danish culture, and engineered with the collaboration of the German studio Zanzotti Industrial Design, Mate presents Mate.SUV, whose name is clearly the explanation of its intent.

An e-bike that aims to provide the best load capacity and mobility, so much so that it is openly a substitute for the second family car, and for some perhaps even the first. It focuses on a massive front cargo space, so as to force the designers to focus on the configuration with three wheels, two of which are front.

It is a product, for once, European and designed for Europe, therefore in compliance with our regulations, with 250 W of maximum power of the electric assistance, and 25 km/h as the speed limit in which the motor electric makes its support felt. Everything else is leg strength.

The height of the rider can be between 160 and 210 cm, while the front space can also accommodate a second adult, or two children, with alternative material for a volume of 210 litres. Mate imagines his e-bike with protective front bars, a cargo cover, or even a curtain to shelter passengers from bad weather.
