Quando si parla di due ruote non si può che non pensare al territorio condiviso tra Emilia Romagna e Marche. Un angolo di mondo che racchiude tutta l’essenza di due passioni: motociclismo e ciclismo.
 E’ in questi luoghi che ogni anno arrivano appassionati da tutto il mondo per vedere gare del Motomondiale al Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli e amanti della bicicletta per solcare i percorsi delle Gran Fondo più famose. Il Tour dei Campioni ha come scopo proprio questo, legare i territori oltre i confini regionali uniti dalla grande passione per i motori e per la bici sulle strade dei grandi piloti.

Nato da un’idea della AG Eventi di Alessandro Gualazzi, questo progetto mette al centro della sua mission il turismo green e slow. Un modo per scoprire terre e Comuni che dialogano tra loro in armonia e vivono lo sport con passione e voglia di stare insieme. 

I luoghi

Tavullia è il Comune capofila dell’iniziativa che unisce sei Comuni a cavallo tra le province di Pesaro Urbino e Rimini, tra le regioni Marche ed Emilia Romagna. Tavullia, Gradara, Coriano, Misano Adriatico, Morciano di Romagna e Montescudo-Montecolombo sono i luoghi da cui è partito il progetto che animerà queste zone. Tutti condividono la grande passione per i motori e per la bicicletta. Un binomio che è alla base del progetto che mette in rete i percorsi cicloturistici di questi territori diventati un simbolo internazionale del motociclismo. 

Tre i percorsi individuati, Tour dei Campioni, Tour dei Borghi e Tour del Parco, che uniscono costa ed entroterra. E’ stata realizzata una guida cartacea ed una mappa affiancata da una cartellonistica per condurre i cicloturisti tra gli splendidi paesaggi di queste colline. Tre anelli volti a far scoprire le bellezze e le particolarità in sella alla propria bici. Tutto rigorosamente digitalizzato e scaricabile in file GPX su Komoot per poter fare le esperienze in compagnia o in autonomia. 

I campioni
Ad animare questo viaggio nella terra dei motori ci sono i luoghi che hanno cresciuto e ospitano tutt’ora i Campioni delle due ruote. Da Valentino Rossi a Luca Marini, Franco Morbidelli, Pecco Bagnaia, Andrea Migno, Celestino Vietti e di tanti altri campioni. Immancabile il ricordo a due stelle dello sport come Marco Simoncelli e Nicky Hayden, che ci hanno lasciato troppo presto ma che ancora colorano questi luoghi.

Un’iniziativa di questo tipo amplia gli orizzonti di un turismo vissuto a ridosso del mare, per pochi mesi l’anno. Dietro l’idea di Alessandro Gualazzi e la sua AG Eventi, c’è la voglia di portare il ciclismo su queste strade per 365 giorni e in luoghi originali come il Circuito di Misano. 

«Unire due sport. Molti motociclisti utilizzano la bici per allenarsi e i ciclisti sono spesso appassionati delle due ruote a motore. Il nostro scopo è il turismo e far sì che questi mondi vivano sulle stesse strade in armonia. La zona che abbiamo scelto è collinare non è impegnativa ed è alla portata di tutti, con panorami bellissimi e caratteristici. Si può fare con qualsiasi tipo di bici: da strada, mtb, gravel, ebike. L’asso nella manica sarà l’incontro con il Circuito di Misano.
Prevediamo infatti un momento per far entrare le bici dentro l’autodromo che sta mostrando un’anima aperta e diversificata per molti sport. Mauro Sanchini ci aiuta molto in questo, collabora con noi e sostiene il progetto.

«Mi auguro di poter tabellare tutto il percorso, con segnaletiche rivolte alla sicurezza e a misura di ciclista. Ad oggi ci sono informazioni per ogni paese che viene attraversato. I Comuni ci stanno sostenendo e come loro anche le autorità regionali. E’ un progetto in continua evoluzione, con le risorse che verranno e che valorizzeranno il progetto non ci poniamo limiti».

The Tour of Champions has precisely this purpose, to link the territories beyond regional borders united by the great passion for engines and for cycling on the roads of the great pilots.

Born from an idea of ​​​​AG Eventi by Alessandro Gualazzi, this project puts green and slow tourism at the center of its mission. A way to discover lands and Municipalities that dialogue with each other in harmony and experience sport with passion and a desire to be together.

The places

Tavullia is the leading Municipality of the initiative that unites six Municipalities between the provinces of Pesaro Urbino and Rimini, between the regions of Marche and Emilia Romagna. Tavullia, Gradara, Coriano, Misano Adriatico, Morciano di Romagna and Montescudo-Montecolombo are the places from which the project that will animate these areas started. Three routes have been identified, Tour of the Champions, Tour of the Villages and Tour of the Park, which unite the coast and the hinterland. Three rings aimed at discovering the beauty and peculiarities on your bike. The Champions

To animate this journey in the land of engines are the places that have raised and still host the Champions of the two wheels. Our aim is tourism and to ensure that these worlds live on the same roads in harmony. The area we have chosen is hilly, not demanding and is accessible to everyone, with beautiful and characteristic views. It can be done with any type of bike: road, mountain bike, gravel, e-bike. The ace up the sleeve will be the meeting with the Misano Circuit. In fact, we will plan a moment to bring the bikes into the racetrack that is showing an open and diversified soul for many sports. Mauro Sanchini helps us a lot in this, collaborates with us and supports the project.

"I hope to be able to signpost the entire route, with safety-oriented signs designed for cyclists. To date, there is information for every town that is crossed. The Municipalities are supporting us and so are the regional authorities. It is a project in continuous evolution, with the resources that will come and that will enhance the project we will not set limits".
