Incentivare l’uso della bicicletta per il tragitto casa-scuola o casa-lavoro attraverso buoni mobilità. È questo l’obiettivo di Pin Bike, l’iniziativa promossa dal Comune di Bergamo presentata in una conferenza stampa martedì mattina a Palazzo Frizzoni.
L’assessore alla Mobilità Stefano Zenoni spiega: “Pin Bike prevede un incentivo economico per chi decide di utilizzare la bici come mezzo di trasporto e rientra nel finanziamento ministeriale della transizione ecologica, che ha visto Bergamo coinvolta con il progetto Bus and Bike, nel quale rientra la velostazione. Partito da qualche anno come progetto di carattere aziendale, con buoni mobilità ai dipendenti del Comune, di Atb e della Provincia, pur con molte difficoltà legate allo smart working e alla pandemia, ora si apre una fese dedicata ai cittadini”.
Ma come funziona in sostanza?
“Monitoriamo l’uso della bici dei residenti nel comune di Bergamo per chi si sposta con mobilità alternativa e dolce, sia che lavorino o studino qui o fuori, e a seconda dei chilometri fatti, vengono dati premi economici per l’impegno. Abbiamo pensato che questi buoni possano essere spesi nei negozi della città, non per negozi on-line, per renderla motivo di sostegno per favorire la vivibilità della città che animano il nostro centro. Per questa ragione ci siamo relazionato con il Distretto del Commercio”, continua l’assessore.
“La nostra mission è riempire il gap tra chi sa pedalare e possiede una bici ma non la usa come mezzo di trasporto – dichiara Annarita Leserri di Pin Bike -. Il sistema è semplice e si basa su tre elementi principali: il sensore che si monta sul manubrio, un led di segnalazione, una targa catarifrangente. Segue la possibilità di scaricare l’app per registrare le proprie tratte e accedere ai premi e agli incentivi”.
L’app consente anche di mappare i propri percorsi e i chilometri fatti. Contestualmente i cittadini possono ricevere le notifiche e inviare delle segnalazioni, allegando foto per mettere in luce anche i problemi delle sedi stradali. Questo progetto è stato sperimentato su 200 dipendenti pubblici della città e prevedeva un rimborso di 0.30 euro al chilometro, con un massimo di 17 euro al mese”.
Ora Pin Bike viene esteso ad altre categorie cittadine, aperto a tutta la cittadinanza maggiorenne, e ai commercianti della città. “Verranno accolti i primi 500 cittadini disponibili, con un rimborso di 0.25 centesimi al chilometro con un massimo di rimborso di 30 euro al mese che saranno erogati sotto forma di voucher. Ci saranno poi premi extra per chi userà come destinazione finale del suo tragitto la velostazione. Il progetto avrà una durata di 3 mesi e partirà dal 3 ottobre”, conclude Zenoni.
La fase di registrazione per i cittadini partirà dal 23 settembre per ritirare il kit, mentre dal 3 ottobre inizieranno a conteggiate i chilometri e dalla fine del mese si potranno usufruire dei primi vaucher, dai 10 euro in avanti, spendibili anche dal mese successivo.

Started a few years ago as a corporate project, with good mobility for employees of the Municipality, Atb and the Province, albeit with many difficulties related to smart working and the pandemic, now a section dedicated to citizens is opening up ”.
But how does it essentially work?
"We monitor the use of bicycles by residents in the municipality of Bergamo for those who travel with alternative and gentle mobility, whether they work or study here or away, and depending on the kilometers traveled, economic rewards are given for their commitment. We thought that these vouchers can be spent in the shops of the city, not for online shops, to make it a reason to support the livability of the city that animate our center. For this reason we have been in contact with the Commerce District ", continues the councilor.
“Our mission is to fill the gap between those who know how to ride and own a bike but don't use it as a means of transport - says Annarita Leserri of Pin Bike -. The system is simple and is based on three main elements: the sensor that is mounted on the handlebar, a signaling LED, a reflector plate. This is followed by the possibility to download the app to register your routes and access rewards and incentives ".
The app also allows you to map your routes and kilometers traveled. At the same time, citizens can receive notifications and send reports, attaching photos to highlight the problems of roadways. This project was tested on 200 public employees of the city and provided for a reimbursement of 0.30 euros per kilometer, with a maximum of 17 euros per month ”.
Now Pin Bike is extended to other city categories, open to all citizens of age, and to the merchants of the city. “The first 500 available citizens will be welcomed, with a refund of 0.25 cents per kilometer with a maximum refund of 30 euros per month which will be issued in the form of vouchers. There will also be extra prizes for those who use the velostation as the final destination of their journey. The project will have a duration of 3 months and will start from 3 October ”, concludes Zenoni.
The registration phase for citizens will start from 23 September to collect the kit, while from 3 October the kilometers will begin to be counted and from the end of the month you will be able to take advantage of the first vouchers, from 10 euros onwards, which can also be spent from the following month.
