Facing the crossroads, the cyclist was uncertain whether to continue the race uphill, and his tired and mediocre career as a professional racer, or to take that downhill road of smooth and clear earth. He finally swerved, stopped pedaling, and let the bike ride down a drop-off without a finish line. He stopped in the yard of a remote farmhouse.

A young woman approached him. Thus begins the new life of the old cyclist Zugalà who discovered he had the light in his worn legs: a story of electrifying passions, of erotic abandonments, of competitive and at the same time speculative challenges, of a destiny only apparently marked by defeat.

Re-proposed in a new version twenty years after its first publication, "Il ciclista Illuminato" is a philosophical fable about the energy that knows how to arouse and produce desire.

Moro 07

Yamaha has been among the leading names in the e-bike revolution for many years, especially when it comes to high performance and eMTB, the electric version of mountain bikes. After having tickled the interest of enthusiasts with prototypes and various design studies, the Japanese house is ready to enter the market with its only perhaps, to produce an entire eMTB.

Thus was born the Moro 07, an all-mountain with 150mm of travel. Yamaha describes the development of the bike and frame as holistic - that is, in a coordinated way to ensure that the various components work in unison, to offer better performance. The key is the Dual Twin frame, which is based on Yamaha's world champion bikes, where the top tube splits in two and hides the shock mount.

The suspension is entrusted to RockShox, with the Lyric Select RC fork with 160 mm of travel, and the Super Deluxe Select + RT shock, Deboair and 150 mm of travel. The transmission instead is all Shimano brand, with a mix of Shimano SL / RD and Deore XT M8100, 12-speed and Hyperglide + cassette. The brakes are Magura MT5 4-piston, with 203mm discs. Prices are still unknown at the moment, but the bikes are expected to hit retailers by the end of the year.

From the city of steel comes an idea for hydrogen. It is the one brought to the Maker Faire in Rome by the students of the "Pacinotti" institute in Taranto, who, thanks to the collaboration of the Municipality and Comes, showed at the innovation review an electric bike model powered by the cleanest of fuels (thanks to the combination with the oxygen of the atmosphere, the result of the production of energy is pure water, in fact).

This is a project already shown on the occasion of the "European Mobility Week 2022" and which reaffirms the prospects of Taranto as one of the national poles in the framework of the initiatives supported by the NRP. In fact, in Puglia, Edison and Snam aim to create a Green Hydrogen Valley, with production, storage and use of fuel. Together with Brindisi and Cerignola, the Apulian capital will host one of the three plants planned for the production of 220 megawatt green hydrogen for the fuel obtained for industrial use and possibly for mobility. Renewable electricity will be provided by 380 MW solar photovoltaic systems; the plants, once fully operational, will produce 300 million cubic meters of hydrogen per year.

A system at the dawn of the development of hydrogen (due to the size and complexity of the processes) but which testifies to attention also at the level of local training institutes and the desire to investigate the possibilities of this fuel.

Paris is the best example of how a metropolis can be made cycling.
There are no cities unsuitable for bikes but there are cities where cycling has been worked on and cities that have been abandoned to cars.

There are many initiatives that have been implemented: roads reserved for schools, subscriptions at reduced prices for bike sharing with the first half hour of free use, monthly subscription to the service of 3.10 euros, penalization of car traffic with speed limitations and increased parking costs.

The French capital is certainly not a provincial town, where traffic is low and a few cycle paths are enough. Paris is a European capital, with millions of inhabitants, hundreds of thousands of tourists, a vast hinterland that gravitates to the center.

Traffic is intense, sometimes chaotic. Yet, Paris today is full of bicycles, cycle paths, pedestrian areas where people stroll, socialize and consume.

In every corner of the Ville Lumière it is possible to take advantage of bike sharing.
