Hi guys, hi there bike friends, are you ready for the new Alexander cycling season? We are going to open the hotel in the next days and we wanna show you the routes where we we are going to ride this year. Andrea, our cycling journalist, during winter time has gone with his bike gps to the hinterland and the Gabicce sorrounding areas following the six garmin routes
1) Carpegna Cippo Pantani - Big tour 138km
First ride to the Carpegna's Cippo, the longest one, pretty much demanding, but very nice. That is the Marco Pantani hill with a hard elevation: 7 km with the 14% adv going to the top of the hill: 1450 meter up to Gabicce where you can touch the sky! It would be amazing to arrive there: 138km to go and come back an the sensation to do a real enterprise!
2) Urbino - Panoramic Tour 105km
What the best way to reach the wonderful the city of Urbino? From Gabicce you are going to join another fantastic ride: 106 km towards one the most famous historic and artistic place of the Marche Region. That's a nice ride, not so hard, going throught the Montefeltro and Valconca valleys looking wonderful views and scenaries.
3) Montegrimano/ Monte San Paolo/Monte Cerignone - 85km
Five hours ride to the Valconca green valley towards the beautiful villages of Montecerignone and Montegrimano back of the San Marino rock. This is a perfect tour to admire the hinterland Gabicce scenary following the road to Monte San Paolo and his top to 850m up!
The way back from Montescudo would be good for a deserved coffee break before the last 30km to the Alexander's lunch in Gabicce!

4)Monte Altaveglio/Tavoleto km 77
In the border beetween Emilia Romagna and Marche region there is a fantastic bike route going to Avellana Valley and the sourraunding area. Starting from Gabicce we will get the villages finding out Saludecio, Mondaino, Tavoleto ...keep going the road to the Monte Altavellio top where you can enjoy a fantastic view of the riviera! The tour is almost 80km, and it is ok for all cyclists level.
5) Montescudo/Gesso/San Marino km80
What about seeing the beauty of the oldest republic of Europe? This bike tour is 80km going to the top of Monte Titano in the state of San Marino. It would be very nice join the history of this old rock very famous for shopping and in the cycling routes as well. Before San Marino and the coffee break in the famous "Piazza della Libertà" where is placed the government palace we are passing from the village of Montescudo and the beautiful road toward Gesso and Montelicciano.
6) Candelara/Novilara km 70
Riding on the hills up to Pesaro going back from the Panoramic Road. This is one of the best route (70km) we suggest in Alexander Bike experience. Nice roads, not so tough going to the wonderful old villages of Candelara (with his famous romanic church) and Novilara. On the way back we have the unique possibility to join the panoramic road, the famous "green highway" from Pesaro to Gabicce, 20 km up to the coast for a stunning view at Fiorenzuola and Casteldimezzo.
