Bikeflip

E' la piattaforma per la compravendita di biciclette di ogni tipo e prezzo ideata dagli atleti professionisti Fabio Wibmer e Andrea Maranelli e il loro compagno di studi Nikolai Holder.
Si rivolge agli appassionati di ciclismo e cicloturismo e propone ogni tipo di bicicletta: si va da modelli nuovi che raggiungono prezzi anche di svariate migliaia di euro, fino a biciclette usate da poche decine di euro, in virtù del riuso e dell’economia circolare.

Chi vuole rivendere la propria bici non ha che da creare un annuncio con foto e postarlo sul marketplace. Quando trova un acquirente, Bikeflip invia l’imballaggio brevettato a casa del venditore, con tanto di tutorial per inserirvi la bicicletta, e si occupa della spedizione. Una volta ricevuta la bicicletta, l’acquirente ha 48 ore di tempo per montare e testare la bici. Solo trascorso tale termine senza che vi siano contestazioni, Bikeflip trasferisce il denaro, prelevando una percentuale per il servizio.

Nata ufficialmente a Innsbruck, la startup ha scelto di crescere a Rovereto in Progetto Manifattura, l’incubatore delle green-tech di Trentino Sviluppo. Il portale, basato sui principi del riuso e dell’economia circolare, in poco tempo ha già raggiunto le 10 mila biciclette disponibili e punta così ad aprirsi ad altri mercati europei dopo l’Austria e la Germania, in cui è già attivo.

It is aimed at cycling and cycle touring enthusiasts and offers every type of bicycle: ranging from new models that reach prices of several thousand euros, up to used bicycles costing a few tens of euros, by virtue of reuse and the circular economy.

Anyone who wants to resell their bike just has to create an advert with photos and post it on the marketplace. When it finds a buyer, Bikeflip sends the patented packaging to the seller's home, complete with a tutorial for inserting the bicycle, and takes care of the shipping. Once the bicycle has been received, the buyer has 48 hours to assemble and test the bike. Only after this deadline without any complaints will Bikeflip transfer the money, taking a percentage for the service.

Officially born in Innsbruck, the startup chose to grow in Rovereto in Progetto Manifattura, the green-tech incubator of Trentino Sviluppo. The portal, based on the principles of reuse and the circular economy, has already reached 10 thousand bicycles available in a short time and thus aims to open up to other European markets after Austria and Germany, where it is already active.
