In Italia i ladri di biciclette non sono un ricordo di epoca neorealista, ma sono estremamente attuali: i dati FIAB riportano un furto ogni due minuti. E dato che l’uso di questi mezzi è in aumento, è naturale che ad Eicma 2022 venga presentato anche un prodotto che possa limitare questi atti.

Trackitng Bike è un antifurto GPS connesso che punta a garantire maggiore tranquillità ai proprietari di bici, che possono infatti gestirlo comodamente dal proprio smartphone. Il dispositivo è molto compatto e si può disporre sotto il portaborraccia, come un distanziali, o sui fori di serie del telaio. Pesa infatti 30 grammi e ha dimensioni di 152x46x10 mm, e gode di batteria interna ricaricabile della durata di un anno, SIM integrata con connettività illimitata in 49 paesi europei, antenna satellitare e tecnologia IoT. La sua scocca resiste a urti e agenti atmosferici e, con delle viti anti-manomissione, protegge il dispositivo dalla rimozione forzata.

l sistema reagisce ad ogni movimento della bicicletta con il suo accelerometro digitale, e in caso di tentato furto avvisa con una chiamata il proprietario, tracciando nel frattempo la bici in tempo reale. Il proprietario, dall’app, può comporre automaticamente il numero delle Forze dell’Ordine, o condividere la posizione della bici rubata per facilitarne il recupero.

In Italy, bicycle thieves are not a memory of the Neorealist era, but they are extremely current: FIAB data report a theft every two minutes. And given that the use of these means is increasing, it is natural that a product that can limit these acts will also be presented at Eicma 2022.

Trackitng Bike is a connected GPS anti-theft device that aims to ensure greater peace of mind for bike owners, who can in fact manage it comfortably from their smartphone. The device is very compact and can be placed under the bottle cage, as a spacer, or on the standard holes of the frame. It weighs 30 grams and has dimensions of 152x46x10 mm, and has an internal rechargeable battery lasting one year, integrated SIM with unlimited connectivity in 49 European countries, satellite antenna and IoT technology. Its body resists shocks and atmospheric agents and, with anti-tampering screws, protects the device from forced removal.

The system reacts to every movement of the bicycle with its digital accelerometer, and in the event of an attempted theft it notifies the owner with a call, in the meantime tracking the bike in real time. The owner, from the app, can automatically dial the police force number, or share the location of the stolen bike to facilitate its recovery.
