Una coppia di genitori ha percorso 17.000 km in bicicletta per vedere il figlio alle Olimpiadi
I genitori dello sciatore-freestyle Misha Gasser hanno passato un intero anno a percorrere 17.000km in bicicletta per guardare la performance del figlio nella città coreana di Pyeongchang.

Rita Ruttmann e Guido Huwiler hanno lasciato la loro abitazione a Olten (a 70km da Zurigo) a febbraio 2017 e si sono dati ad un viaggio lunghissimo. Sono giunti a Pyeongchang martedì 14 febbraio 2018 lasciandosi alle spalle 20 paesi.

La parte più difficile è stato il viaggio attraverso il Pamir per diversi paesi dell'Asia centrale, dopo questa avventura i due svizzeri sono certamente stanchi. Quando hanno raggiunto il confine cinese, a Huwiler è stato rifiutato il visto a causa della barba che si rifiutava di tagliare. In Corea del Sud la coppia ha rotto una tenda all'aria aperta ad una temperatura inferiore allo zero.

Non appena Misha Gasser finirà con la sua performance, i suoi genitori viaggeranno dalla Corea del Sud al Giappone. Da lì torneranno in Svizzera per ottenere i visti per la Cina, la Russia e la Mongolia, per poi riprendere la loro avventura. "Siamo pazzi!" Ride Huwiler.

The parents of the freestyle skier Misha Gasser spent a whole year traveling 17,000km on a bicycle to watch her son's performance in the Korean city of Pyeongchang.

Rita Ruttmann and Guido Huwiler left their home in Olten (70km from Zurich) in February 2017 and took a very long trip. They arrived in Pyeongchang on Tuesday, February 14, 2018, leaving behind 20 countries.

The most difficult part was the journey through the Pamir to several countries of Central Asia, after this adventure the two Swiss are certainly tired. When they reached the Chinese border, Huwiler was refused a visa because of the beard that he refused to cut. In South Korea, the couple broke an open-air tent at a temperature below zero.

As soon as Misha Gasser finishes with her performance, her parents will travel from South Korea to Japan. From there they will return to Switzerland to obtain visas for China, Russia and Mongolia, and then resume their adventure. "We are crazy!" Ride Huwiler.
