La bici pieghevole

Nel 2010 il prototipo di bici che vi stiamo per presentare ha vinto il primo premio alla “New Designer Exhibition” di Londra.

La differenza rispetto gli altri modelli è che questa bici si piega senza utilizzare cardini, grazie alla flessibilità del tronco centrale, che rimane rigido durante l'utilizzo, ma torna flessibile azionando una leva laterale.

L'idea dietro alla quale è nato questo prototipo riguarda il problema della mancanza di catena e lucchetto. 

Grazie alla flessibilità del tronco della bici è infatti possibile usare l'intera bici come catena- la si può infatti piegare interamente attorno a un palo rendendo futile la catena. 

Il lucchetto è ancora necessario, ma a questo punto, non potevano integrare anche quello nella bici?

E attenti a non azionare la leva mentre pedalate!!!

In 2010, the bike prototype we are about to present has won the first place at London's "New Designer Exhibition".

The difference compared to the other models is that this bike folds without using hinges, thanks to the flexibility of the central trunk, which remains rigid during use, but returns flexibly by operating a side lever.

The idea behind which this prototype was born relates to the problem of chain and padlock failure.

Thanks to the flexibility of the bike trunk, it is possible to use the whole bike as a chain, so it can bend entirely around a pole making the chain futile.

The padlock is still needed, but at this point they could not even fit the one in the bike.

And be careful not to actuate the lever while pedaling !!!
