SUPER73 è un brand nato nel 2016 che oggi lavora duramente per fondere insieme la storia del mondo delle corse e le necessità di mobilità da parte dei giovani di oggi; localizzata in California e ad Amsterdam, la compagnia sta ridefinendo i confini dell’industria delle due ruote elettriche, grazie a design ricercati, tecniche di produzione responsabili, coinvolgimento della comunità locale e continua ricerca per crescere ed espandersi.
La continua ricerca di SUPER73 in ambito di design ha portato alla nascita di un nuovo modello di bicicletta ispirato alle Porsche degli anni 70.
L’ultima fatica di SUPER73 si ispira alla iconica Porsche 935 Kremer Racing degli anni 70, un’auto che ha corso e vinto le gare endurance più importanti del mondo, come la 24 Ore di Le Mans e quella di Daytona. Quest’auto è rimasta nella memoria degli appassionati anche grazie alla particolare colorazione: azzurro, viola, arancione e giallo, una combinazione di colori che risaltava nettamente nei paddock dell’epoca.
Per impreziosire ulteriormente il design della sua nuova bicicletta elettrica, SUPER73 ha deciso di utilizzare cerchi oro BBS sui quali sono state installate gomme Apache Fattyslick, e una catena di trasmissione dello stesso colore. Dagli interni dell’auto è stata presa l’ispirazione necessaria per la realizzazione del sellino, foderato in Alcantara con cuciture bianche e logo ricamato nella parte posteriore: l’Alcantara è un materiale famoso per la sua resistenza nel tempo, pertanto si presta bene alla realizzazione del sellino.
Con questa nuova bicicletta elettrica, SUPER73 vuole omaggiare una delle case automobilistiche che hanno dato di più al mondo delle corse ad alta velocità; il prezzo di questa edizione speciale non è stato diffuso, mentre i modelli entry level disponibili sul sito europeo di SUPER73 partono da 1599 €, cifra con la quale si può acquistare una bici della serie Z, in grado di percorrere tra i 20 e i 32 km con una sola carica alla velocità massima di 25 km/h.

SUPER73's continuous research in the field of design has led to the birth of a new bicycle model inspired by the Porsche of the 70s.
SUPER73's latest effort is inspired by the iconic Porsche 935 Kremer Racing from the 1970s, a car that has raced and won the most important endurance races in the world, such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans and that of Daytona. This car has remained in the memory of enthusiasts also thanks to the particular color: blue, purple, orange and yellow, a combination of colors that clearly stood out in the paddocks of the time.
To further embellish the design of its new electric bicycle, SUPER73 has decided to use BBS gold rims on which Apache Fattyslick tires have been installed, and a transmission chain of the same color. The necessary inspiration for the construction of the seat was taken from the interior of the car, lined in Alcantara with white stitching and logo embroidered on the back: Alcantara is a material famous for its resistance over time, therefore it lends itself well to realization of the saddle.
With this new electric bicycle, SUPER73 wants to pay homage to one of the car manufacturers that have given more to the world of high-speed racing; the price of this special edition has not been disclosed, while the entry level models available on the European website of SUPER73 start at € 1599, a figure with which you can buy a bike of the Z series, able to travel between 20 and 32 km with a single charge at a maximum speed of 25 km / h.
