Sembra un porta borraccia ma nasconde un antifurto per le bici dotato di Gps. L’idea è venuta in mente al 51enne Lorenzo Bartolucci, titolare del negozio di bici “Factoryitalia.com”, situato lungo viale Virgilio a Riccione.
Esasperato da furti sempre più frequenti che non risparmiano neppure la Perla verde dove risiede, Bartolucci ha ideato un prodotto che metterà in commercio a partire da ottobre, al prezzo di 35 euro in colore silver, oppure 39 nella versione nera.
Una cifra che comprende nel prezzo anche l’eventuale personalizzazione.
Il punto di partenza di Bartolucci era quello di trovare un nascondiglio per l’Airtag di Apple, un piccolo dispositivo dotato di una batteria che dura un anno, ma soprattutto fornito di un Gps, che collegato con l’Iphone rivela la sua posizione. «Uno strumento utile, che si può nascondere con facilità – rimarca – rendendolo meno visibile all’occhio del ladro».
La proverbiale lampadina di Archimede si è accesa quando navigando su internet la sua attenzione è stata attirata da un pezzo in vendita, di solito impiegato per agganciare la borraccia alla due ruote. Proprio a quell’aggeggio Bartolucci si è ispirato per creare un porta-Airtag.
Così durante il lavoro ha personalizzato il gadget, non solo per lanciare in futuro un suo marchio dedicato a parti speciali per la bici, ossia “Eric Performance”, ma per dare ulteriore prova alle forze dell’ordine che la bici rubata e ritrovata sia proprio la nostra. Il prototipo costruito con i macchinari di cui dispone è sottile e dal peso contenuto, resistente all’acqua e dotato di coperchio. Ma soprattutto, dettaglio non trascurabile, garantisce che l’Airtag inserito all’interno non si muova.
«È un’idea a portata di mano, la soluzione ideale per non farsi rubare la bici», commenta il vulcanico inventore, facendo presente che il dispositivo si può mimetizzare facilmente anche in altre parti della bici «ad esempio sotto al sellino o persino dentro al motore della bici elettroniche».

Bartolucci's starting point was to find a hiding place for Apple's Airtag, a small device equipped with a battery that lasts a year, but above all equipped with a GPS, which when connected to the iPhone reveals its position. "A useful tool, which can be easily hidden - he remarks - making it less visible to the eye of the thief".
Archimedes' proverbial light bulb turned on when, while surfing the internet, his attention was drawn to a piece for sale, usually used to attach the water bottle to the two-wheeler. Just that contraption Bartolucci was inspired to create an Airtag holder.
So during the work he customized the gadget, not only to launch his own brand dedicated to special parts for the bike in the future, namely "Eric Performance", but to give further proof to the police that the stolen and found bike is really our. The prototype built with the machinery at its disposal is thin and light in weight, water resistant and equipped with a lid. But above all, a not negligible detail, it guarantees that the Airtag inserted inside does not move.
«It's a handy idea, the ideal solution for not having your bike stolen», comments the volcanic inventor, pointing out that the device can also be easily camouflaged in other parts of the bike «for example under the saddle or even inside to the motor of the electronic bike».
