Bosch e le e-bike

Al Consumer Electronics Show (CES) di Las Vegas dove Bosch eBike System ha svelato le novità per rendere le e-bike sempre più connesse con il mondo digitale. 

Un impegno perseguito dal 2014 con l’integrazione tra il ciclocomputer Nyon con lo smartphone e il portale web dedicato. Da allora i responsabili del marchio hanno apportato continue migliorie all’ecosistema smart per fornire all’utente un’esperienza di guida più “intelligente”, comoda e personalizzata grazie alla possibilità di acquisire sempre più dati e di semplificarne la condivisione. Tra le news esposte alla rassegna USA e pronte a debuttare sul mercato entro l’estate la più rilevante riguarda i nuovi display e, in particolare, il ciclocomputer Kiox. 

Presentato nel 2019, è ora aggiornato con nuove funzioni che consentono ai bikers di registrare dati di training, come la frequenza cardiaca o le prestazioni personali. Informazioni che si possono elaborare e condividere dopo il tour sfruttando l'applicazione smartphone eBike Connect o il portale online dedicato. Tra le nuove funzioni del Kiox sono da citare pure Premium Lock, una protezione digitale aggiuntiva contro i furti, e la compatibilità con lo SmartphoneHub pensato per rendere l’e-bike sempre collegata con la rete. In combinazione con lo smartphone e l'app COBI.Bike, consente di usufruire di una molteplicità di funzioni come la navigazione, il tracking dei percorsi, lo streaming musicale, la consultazione delle previsioni meteo o il collegamento ad app specifiche, quali Apple Health, Google Fit, Strava o komoot.

Presented in 2019, it is now updated with new features that allow bikers to record training data, such as heart rate or personal performance. Information that can be processed and shared after the tour using the eBike Connect smartphone application or the dedicated online portal. Among the new functions of the Kiox we must also mention Premium Lock, an additional digital protection against theft, and compatibility with the SmartphoneHub designed to make the e-bike always connected to the network. In combination with the smartphone and the COBI.Bike app, it allows you to take advantage of a multiplicity of functions such as navigation, route tracking, music streaming, consultation of weather forecasts or connection to specific apps, such as Apple Health, Google Fit, Strava or komoot.
