Mustache, l'azienda francese leader nel settore delle ebike, ha appena prodotto e lanciato Lundi 20, un mezzo che rompe gli schemi e apre nuove frontiere di utilizzo. Parliamo di bici cargo, finora associate a un uso prettamente operativo e commerciale. Quelle che conosciamo e vediamo condurre da atletici rider, sono grosse, lunghe, pesanti e ingombranti. Moustache ha studiato il mercato e ha progettato un mezzo che non esisteva, donandogli l’agilità e la compattezza della bici, ma nello stesso tempo associando una grande capacità di carico e una polivalenza progettuale con un catalogo di optional da macchina di lusso.

Fondata nel 2011 da Emmanuel Antonot e Greg Sand, dopo 10 anni di continua crescita l’azienda d’Oltralpe conta oggi quasi 100 dipendenti. Produce oltre 50.000 ebike all’anno (dato 2020) ed esporta in tutto il mondo il 40% della sua produzione. La scommessa è stata da subito la bici elettrica, un mezzo su cui hanno puntato investimenti, ricerca e risorse fino a riuscire a vincere nel 2020 il mondiale UCI EMTB corso in Val di Sole con Jerome Gilloux. Il dogma per i due fondatori era uno: costruire ebike «per lasciare l’auto in garage».
E sembrano esserci riusciti. 

La nuova Lundi 20 apre un nuovo segmento, quello delle cargo bike, che in Francia sono sicuri sarà rivoluzionario e vincente.
Il loro slogan è #smilingmachine e guidare la Lundi 20 vi porterà davvero a sorridere.
La compattezza e le dimensioni la rendono di facile utilizzo per tutti gli utenti. 
Il telaio in lega di alluminio a tripla cavità garantisce grande resistenza, ma nello stesso tempo ha geometrie che lo rendono facilissimo e sicuro da condurre.
Gli pneumatici da 20 pollici di grande sezione sono perfetti per ogni tipo di superficie e ostacolo e reggono grandi pesi oltre i 100 kg.
Il reggisella telescopico, di derivazione MTB, regola l’altezza sella a piacimento con un’escursione da 40 mm e il comando sul manubrio gestisce il movimento permettendo a chiunque, nel momento dello stop, di poggiare il piede a terra in modo semplice. Tra l’altro è comprensivo di sistema ammortizzante. Per quanto riguarda il motore, Moustache ha da sempre collaborato con Bosch per avere la massima qualità. I 500Wh garantiscono un tiro eccezionale in ogni situazione, facendo affrontare anche ai meno allenati pendenze e distanze senza troppo sforzo. Per il cambio si può scegliere tra un classico Shimano Deore o il più dinamico Enviolo HD, in dotazione al modello top di gamma. Quest’ultimo fluido e preciso e abbinato alla cinghia di trasmissione in gomma Gates, rende la guida morbida e confortevole, eliminando tra l’altro ogni problema di manutenzione dovuto alla catena tradizionale.

La bici esce di serie con poggiapiedi posteriori rimovibili e un cargo molto ampio che può essere integrato all’occorrenza da seggiolini per il trasporto dei bambini, da contenitori di varie misure, da cestini, da borse semirigide di diversa ampiezza, zaini. Il sistema di aggancio/sgancio rapido facilita l’uso e l’inserimento di tutti gli accessori rendendo l’esperienza di guida unica e rilassante. Lundi 20 è davvero una enorme alternativa alla macchina o al motorino. Provarla vuol dire innamorarsene e decidere una volta per tutte di «lasciare la macchina in garage» come i fondatori di Moustache sognano, contribuendo principalmente alla difesa dell’ambiente, a evitarci stress da traffico e a migliorare le nostra salute.

The triple cavity aluminum alloy frame guarantees great resistance, but at the same time has geometries that make it very easy and safe to drive.

The large-section 20-inch tires are perfect for all types of surfaces and obstacles and hold heavy weights over 100 kg.
The telescopic seatpost, derived from MTB, adjusts the saddle height at will with an excursion of 40 mm and the handlebar control manages the movement allowing anyone, when stopping, to place their foot on the ground in a simple way. Among other things, it includes a shock absorbing system. As for the engine, Mustache has always collaborated with Bosch to have the highest quality. The 500Wh guarantees an exceptional shot in every situation, making even the less trained face slopes and distances without too much effort. For the gearbox you can choose between a classic Shimano Deore or the more dynamic Enviolo HD, supplied with the top model. The latter fluid and precise and combined with the Gates rubber transmission belt, makes driving soft and comfortable, eliminating, among other things, any maintenance problems due to the traditional chain.

The bike comes standard with removable rear footrests and a very large cargo that can be integrated if necessary with seats for transporting children, containers of various sizes, baskets, semi-rigid bags of different widths, backpacks. The quick coupling / release system facilitates the use and insertion of all accessories, making the driving experience unique and relaxing. Lundi 20 is truly a huge alternative to a car or a moped. Trying it means falling in love with it and deciding once and for all to "leave the car in the garage" as the founders of Mustache dream, mainly contributing to environmental protection, avoiding traffic stress and improving our health.
