Enciclopedia del Tour de France

In attesa di assaporare dal vivo le grandi emozioni del Tour de France e di pedalare con il grande Claudio Chiappucci, questa settimana vi proponiamo  il libro di Philippe Bouvet e Frédérique Galametz con prefazione di Eddie Merckx.

Cade nel 2019 il centenario della "maglia gialla", attribuita per la prima volta a Grenoble il 19 luglio 1919. Quel giorno nasce un mito, indissolubilmente legato al Tour de France, la corsa ciclistica seconda, per popolarità e visibilità mediatica, solo al Giro d'Italia. 

Il libro celebra ufficialmente questo anniversario raccontando la storia del Tour: concorrenti e protagonisti, ritratti di tutti i vincitori della maglia gialla, aneddoti sportivi e backstage, record, classifiche, statistiche. Il ricchissimo apparato fotografico, tratto dagli archivi storici del Tour e dalla principale testata sportiva francese "L'Équipe", rende questo libro prezioso.
