“Ho visto che molte grandi aziende stanno puntando sui pneumatici senza camera d’aria, per ogni tipo di veicolo. Nessuno, però, aveva provato a stamparne una in 3D, che fosse funzionale per una bicicletta. Ho ricercato parecchio, ho modellato e stampato molti piccoli modellini, per riuscire ad avere lo stesso comportamento di una normale gomma ad aria compressa per biciclette. Poi ci sono riuscito. Appena la stampa era pronta, l’ho installata su una bicicletta di un collega e ho provato a pedalare. In seguito, il mio capo dipartimento mi ha chiamato e mi ha chiesto se avevo intenzione di tornare nel suo studio di design”.
