Bad Bike

Ha presentato ad Eicma 2021 il prototipo della nuova Bad, l’ultima nata dell’azienda italiana che sarà in commercio dalla primavera 2022. 

La bici elettrica è di grande impatto dal punto di vista dell’innovazione: il sistema brevettato Double B System crea infatti uno spartiacque nel mondo delle e-bike perché permette di configurare la bici elettrica sia con un motore posteriore che con qualsiasi motore centrale oggi in circolazione.

E' equipaggiata con un display integrato nel manubrio, e il design viene esaltato dall’assenza all’esterno dei cavi dei freni e fili elettrici, tutti contenuti nel piantone dello sterzo e nel telaio. Pur essendo la bici pieghevole, la batteria (di grande capacità 48V e 15 Ah Samsung) è integrata nel montante centrale del telaio, così come anche i fari anteriori incassati nel telaio. La bici è ammortizzata sia anteriormente che posteriormente.

L’uscita è prevista per la primavera 2022 e il prezzo, ancora non definitivo, si aggirerà intorno ai 2.600 euro per la versione con motore posteriore Bafang da 250 W.  Progettazione e design sono stati realizzati da Bad Bike Styling in collaborazione con il designer Diego della Spina. 

The company presented at Eicma 2021 the prototype of the new Bad, the latest addition to the Italian company that will be on the market from spring 2022.

The electric bike is of great impact from the point of view of innovation: the patented Double B System creates a watershed in the world of e-bikes because it allows you to configure the electric bike with both a rear motor and any central motor today in circulation.

It is equipped with a display integrated into the handlebar, and the design is enhanced by the absence of brake cables and electrical wires on the outside, all contained in the steering column and frame. Despite being the foldable bike, the battery (48V and 15 Ah Samsung large capacity) is integrated into the central pillar of the frame, as well as the front headlights recessed into the frame. The bike is cushioned both front and rear.

The release is scheduled for spring 2022 and the price, still not final, will be around 2,600 euros for the version with a 250 W Bafang rear engine. Planning and design have been created by Bad Bike Styling in collaboration with the designer Diego of the Spine.
