“Kannst du rad fahren?”

E' la traduzione tedesca di “Sai andare in bici?”, il titolo della rassegna del Goethe-Institut Neapel, d’intesa con il MANN e Bicycle House, che presenta la mostra di graphic design, in occasione della Settimana Europea della Mobilità, nell’ambito del Napoli Bike Festival. 

E' stato inaugurato il 16 settembre alle 17 presso l’atrio del MANN e il Bicycle House, ma era visitabile già dal 12 settembre fino al 31 ottobre.

Quaranta manifesti che raccontano la mobilità del presente e quella del futuro, ognuno 50x70: dei polmoni che assumono l’aspetto delle ruote di una bicicletta; personaggi in bici che si inseguono creando un ciclo senza fine, una montagna piena di veicoli inquinanti con una bicicletta nascosta, questi alcuni degli esempi delle opere selezionate tra più di 500 graphic designer delle scuole d’arte tedesche e italiane che hanno partecipato al concorso lanciato dal Goethe-Institut per l’occasione.

Tema centrale della mostra, e del concorso, è la bicicletta, individuata come mezzo che ha accompagnato il nostro passato e può rappresentare il nostro futuro per un mondo ecologico: leggera, maneggevole, mantiene in forma e può percorrere qualsiasi distanza.  

In esposizione, così come previsto dal concorso, i due vincitori, uno per ciascuna delle categorie (“In Formazione” e “Giovani Talenti”), ma anche i venti migliori manifesti italiani e i venti migliori manifesti tedeschi.

Al vernissage saranno presenti il Direttore del MANN, Paolo Giulierini, la Direttrice del Goethe-Institut Neapel, Maria Carmen Morese e il Direttore del Napoli Bike Festival, Luca Simeone, e i partecipanti campani del concorso “Kannst du Rad fahren? / Sai andare in bici?”, Livia Rescigno, la vincitrice nella categoria “giovani talenti”, Giovanni Mazzocchi e Giovanni Colaneri.

It is the German translation of "Can you go by bike?", The title of the Goethe-Institut Neapel review, in agreement with the MANN and Bicycle House, which presents the graphic design exhibition, on the occasion of the European Mobility Week, as part of the Napoli Bike Festival.

It was inaugurated on September 16 at 5 pm at the MANN lobby and the Bicycle House, but it was open from September 12 until October 31.

Forty posters that tell the mobility of the present and that of the future, each 50x70: lungs that take on the appearance of the wheels of a bicycle; characters on bicycles chasing each other creating an endless cycle, a mountain full of polluting vehicles with a hidden bicycle, these are some of the examples of the works selected from more than 500 graphic designers from the German and Italian art schools who participated in the competition launched by the Goethe-Institut for the occasion.

The central theme of the exhibition, and of the competition, is the bicycle, identified as a means that has accompanied our past and can represent our future for an ecological world: light, easy to handle, keeps fit and can travel any distance.On display, as foreseen by the competition, the two winners, one for each of the categories ("In Training" and "Young Talents"), but also the twenty best Italian posters and the twenty best German posters.

At the vernissage there will be the Director of MANN, Paolo Giulierini, the Director of the Goethe-Institut Neapel, Maria Carmen Morese and the Director of the Napoli Bike Festival, Luca Simeone, and the Campania participants of the competition “Kannst du Rad fahren? / Can you ride a bike? ”, Livia Rescigno, the winner in the“ young talents ”category, Giovanni Mazzocchi and Giovanni Colaneri.
