Bruko

E' la prima e bike in legno realizzata artigianalmente e nata in un antico laboratorio di restauro nel centro di Bologna.

Test drive in Lagorai (Trento): su e giù per la catena montuosa trentina che collega la Valsugana con la Val di Fiemme.

 «Prima di arrivare a questo risultato c'è voluto molto studio, una moltitudine infinita di tentativi e perfezionamenti, oltre alla ricerca di componenti rigorosamente fatti in Italia che rispettassero i nostri canoni. - spiegano Paolo Brunello e Sara Koller, gli "inventori" della bici  in legno le cui sillabe dei cognomi compongono appunto il nome del brand - Stratificazione del legno e curvatura delle assi per ottenere un telaio resistente e sicuro, ma allo stesso tempo leggero e adatto ai percorsi urbani e naturali, lastre e materiali scelti accuratamente per avere le migliori performance...un grande percorso di ricerca insomma».

Non un'azienda, ma due artigiani «La prima Bruko è nata nel nostro laboratorio quando dopo il furto della mia bicicletta ci siamo chiesti se saremmo stati in grado di fabbricarcene una da soli - spiega Brunello - Detto fatto. Poi però ci abbiamo preso la mano e abbiamo studiato a fondo ogni particolare, seguendo alcuni valori fra cui la volontà di essere il meno inquinanti possibile, di garantire un'estetica di alto livello e soprattutto aderire a standard qualitativi alti».
L'esordio coincide infatti con la settimana della mobilità sostenibile, che anche a Bologna ha messo al centro del dibattito i nuovi mezzi ecologici per spostarsi.

La produzione, essendo artigianale, è una produzione in piccolo; ogni bicicletta va richiesta su ordinazione ed è poi personalizzabile all'infinito.

Not a company, but two artisans "The first Bruko was born in our laboratory when after the theft of my bicycle we wondered if we would be able to make one for ourselves - explains Brunello - Said fact. But then we took our hands and we thoroughly studied every detail, following some values ​​including the will to be the least polluting possible, to guarantee a high level of aesthetics and above all to adhere to high quality standards ».

The debut coincides with the week of sustainable mobility, which also in Bologna has put the new ecological means at the center of the debate to move.



The production, being artisanal, is a small production; every bicycle must be requested to order and can then be customized to infinity.
