Ride fast, ride safe, ride with style

L’evento “Ride fast, ride safe, ride with style” presso Palazzo Gorani, che ospita la mostra temporanea per celebrare i 110 anni di Taurus, a Milano, si è svolta mercoledì 12 dicembre in via Brisa alle 18,00
Taurus, lo storico brand di biciclette italiane dal 1908, ha lanciato la nuova linea e-bike con tecnologia ZeHus, azienda milanese, nata nel Politecnico di Milano, oggi leader Europea nei sistemi di potenza e connettività all-in-one per le bici a pedalata assistita.

In parallelo è stato lanciato in anteprima assoluta il gilet ad alta visibilità sviluppato da CLARA Swiss Tech, pluripremiata start up nel mondo del wearable technology nata nella scuola universitaria professionale della svizzera italiana (SUPSI).

L’artigianalità italiana si fonde con la tecnologia per offrire agli amanti delle due ruote sicurezza e sempre maggior comfort di guida. La partnership fra Taurus, ZeHus & Clara Swiss Tech conduce verso la bicicletta 4.0.

Sono stati presentati tre nuovi modelli di biciclette Taurus a pedalata assistita: la “Linea È”, le e-bike con l’accento dal carattere grintoso, nelle versioni “È donna” ed “È uomo”, e il modello “È Limited”, con esclusivo telaio a rondine e manubrio artigianale che riprende le linee del manubrio R.
 Il sistema ZeHus, con motore, batteria ed elettronica integrati nel mozzo posteriore gestiti dall’applicazione dedicata Bitride, consente di avere un’autonomia infinita, grazie alla tecnologia KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) che permette di ricaricare la batteria nelle fasi di inerzia, ossia in discesa e pedalando in senso antiorario. Con la batteria nascosta nel mozzo, le nuove e-bike conservano lo stile classico ed elegante Taurus.

Dalla collaborazione fra Taurus e CLARA è nata l’esclusiva linea di gilet ad alta visibilità “CLARA for Taurus”. La start up svizzera CLARA Swiss Tech ha ideato CLARA Smart Vest, un gilet che aumenta la visibilità dei ciclisti grazie all’integrazione di frecce direzionali ad alta luminosità, riducendo il rischio di incidenti stradali proprio quando la maggioranza di essi si verifica: in condizioni di scarsa visibilità ed in prossimità di incroci stradali.
Il funzionamento è semplice e pratico: grazie a un dispositivo wireless posto sul manubrio della bicicletta, quando il ciclista decide di svoltare, può indicare le sue intenzioni attivando la freccia integrata nel gilet.

At the same time, the high visibility gilet developed by CLARA Swiss Tech was launched as an absolute preview, a multi-award-winning start-up in the world of wearable technology created in the professional university school of Italian Switzerland (SUPSI).

Italian craftsmanship blends with the technology to offer safety and increased driving comfort to two-wheelers. The partnership between Taurus, ZeHus & Clara Swiss Tech leads to the 4.0 bicycle.

Three new models of pedal assisted Taurus bikes were presented: the "Linea È", the e-bikes with the gritty accent, in the "È donna" and "È uomo" versions, and the "È Limited" model , with exclusive dovetail frame and handcrafted handlebar which incorporates the lines of the handlebar R.
 The ZeHus system, with engine, battery and electronics integrated in the rear hub managed by the dedicated Bitride application, allows infinite autonomy, thanks to KERS technology (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) that allows you to recharge the battery in phases of inertia, ie downhill and pedaling counterclockwise. With the battery hidden in the hub, the new e-bikes retain the classic and elegant Taurus style.

From the collaboration between Taurus and CLARA the exclusive "CLARA for Taurus" high visibility vest line was born. The Swiss CLARA Swiss Tech start-up has created CLARA Smart Vest, a vest that increases the visibility of cyclists thanks to the integration of high-brightness directional arrows, reducing the risk of road accidents when the majority of them occurs: in conditions of poor visibility and near road intersections.
The operation is simple and practical: thanks to a wireless device placed on the handlebars of the bicycle, when the cyclist decides to turn, he can indicate his intentions by activating the arrow integrated in the vest.
