Alessandria: in bicicletta con i vestiti riscaldati

I vestiti realizzati con panno speciale, intessuto di fibre elettriche a bassa tensione che trasmettono calore, la ditta Klan, fondata nel 2001 da Andrea Gremi, li ha inventati e commercializzati fin dall’inizio, ma per i motociclisti. È recente invece l’interesse per altre categorie, in primis i ciclisti, almeno quelli che usano la bici in condizioni particolari.
 Di qui la decisione della Klan di far testare il proprio abbigliamento tecnico ai «bike patrol», la pattuglia velomontata di vigili urbani attiva ormai da un paio d’anni in città.

I due «bike patrol» sono dotati di giubbotto, camiciotto, calze e ovviamente guanti termo-riscaldati. Per l’energia elettrica i motociclisti possono collegarli con appositi spinotti alla batteria del veicolo: «Per i ciclisti invece - dice ancora Di Gregorio - è stata realizzata una pila portatile, grande come un pacchetto di sigarette, che si sistema in un apposita tasca del giubbotto».

The two "bike patrol" are equipped with a jacket, a smock, socks and, of course, heat-heated gloves. For electric power, motorcyclists can connect them with special plugs to the vehicle battery: «For cyclists instead - says Di Gregorio - a portable battery, as big as a pack of cigarettes, has been created, which is placed in a special pocket of the jacket".
