Raiot

(Radical Apparel Internt of Things) is a Roman startup that recently filed a patent that concerns a smart shoe for the bicycle.

The shoe is designed for a possible inhabitant of a smart city in which this object in common use will be one of many with tech functions able to collect a series of data on daily behavior and make them available through the app.

The shoe with Raiot technology will be realized in partnership with Velasca.
After five rides the LED position lights behind the heel light up and then go off automatically once you get off the saddle thanks to the recognition of the movement of the walk.

There is no on / off switch, while to activate the flashing lights of the arrow a movement of the ankle on the desired side will suffice.

According to estimates, the shoe will be available to the public within six months with a price 20% higher than the list price of the Velasca models.
