Il Museo della Bicicletta di Bra

Il Museo della Bicicletta di Bra si attesta al decimo posto della speciale classifica dei musei dedicati alla categoria dello sport a pedali.

Qui sono esposte tante biciclette, quella da bersagliere del 1900, da panettiere, da arrotino, da spazzacamino, da pompiere, da lattaio, da stagnino, da portalettere e da gelatiere, che hanno trovato posto vicino ad altre pietre miliari come la bici della campionessa di handbike Francesca Fenocchio oppure quella da corsa del 1935 con il primo cambio Campagnolo a bacchetta posteriore, usata anche da Gino Bartali e Fausto Coppi.

Tra le meraviglie da vedere, anche la bicicletta da barbiere, perfettamente attrezzata con gli strumenti del mestiere, donati dal compianto socio Giovanni Masoero, recentemente scomparso all’età di 84 anni e così ricordato dal presidente ed ideatore del Museo, Cavaliere Luciano Cravero: “ Dietro ciascuna bici c’è un pezzo della nostra storia, ricostruita grazie all’impegno e alla generosità di tanti soci, come Giovanni Masoero, che ha donato tutta la sua attrezzatura di barberia per allestire la bicicletta a tema. Alla famiglia del caro Giovanni, esprimo tante condoglianze da parte mia e di tutti i soci del Museo”.

The Bicycle Museum of Bra is in tenth place in the special ranking of museums dedicated to the category of pedal sports.

Many bicycles are on display here, the one from 1900's bersagliere, from baker, knife-grinder, chimney sweep, milkman, tinman, postman and ice cream maker, who have found a place near other milestones such as the champion's bike Francesca Fenocchio's handbike or the 1935 racing one with the first Campagnolo rear rod gearbox, also used by Gino Bartali and Fausto Coppi.

Among the wonders to be seen, also the barber bicycle, perfectly equipped with the tools of the trade, donated by the late partner Giovanni Masoero, recently passed away at the age of 84 and thus remembered by the president and creator of the Museum, Cavaliere Luciano Cravero: " Behind each bike there is a piece of our history, rebuilt thanks to the commitment and generosity of many members, such as Giovanni Masoero, who donated all his barber equipment to set up the themed bicycle. To the family of dear Giovanni, I express many condolences from me and from all the members of the Museum ".
