Si tratta del giro del mondo in bicicletta di due ragazzi ravennati, Marco Meini e Giovanni Gondolini, partiti da Ravenna nel febbraio del 2013 in sella alle loro biciclette, accompagnati virtualmente dal nostro giornale, che ha pubblicato nel corso degli anni le loro testimonianze.
Meini ha abbandonato l’avventura nel 2016 per amore, mettendo su famiglia in Canada, mentre Gondolini ha proseguito fino a oggi, raggiunto dal fratello, fatta eccezione per il ritorno obbligato di fine 2017, quando si è dovuto sottoporre a un intervento chirurgico per la frattura del tendine d’achille riportata in Cile.
Oggi il ritorno, nel pieno dell’emergenza coronavirus, con oltre 90mila chilometri pedalati in sette anni, attraversando 70 paesi. Il fratello Francesco invece in tre anni di giro del mondo ne ha percorsi oltre 40mila, attraversando 33 Paesi.

In a surreal atmosphere, in a deserted Piazza del Popolo, on the first day of "curfew" imposed by the new decree of the anti-coronavirus government, the Magio Bike Tour returns to Ravenna seven years later.
This is the bicycle tour of the world of two boys from Ravenna, Marco Meini and Giovanni Gondolini, who left Ravenna on February 2013 on their bikes, virtually accompanied by our newspaper, which has published their testimonies over the years.
Meini left the adventure in 2016 for love, starting a family in Canada, while Gondolini has continued to this day, joined by his brother, except for the obligatory return at the end of 2017, when he had to undergo surgery for the Achilles tendon fracture reported in Chile.
Today the return, in the midst of the coronavirus emergency, with over 90 thousand kilometers pedaled in seven years, crossing 70 countries. On the other hand, his brother Francesco, in three years of traveling around the world, has traveled over 40 thousand, crossing 33 countries.
