Revonte One

E-bike a cambio automatico sempre più elettrica e meno bike. Questo è l’obiettivo di Revonte che con il modello One si rifà direttamente al mondo delle auto elettriche, allontanandosi dal modo di costruire una bici a pedalata assistita ma con pezzi da bici muscolare. Infatti la One ha una trasmissione diretta, detta stepless. Quindi niente cambio e marce.

Quindi il motore corre direttamente attraverso una serie di ingranaggi planetari non dissimili dal sistema che guida la Toyota Prius. C’è un motore elettrico che inserisce la coppia e un altro che gira per controllare la velocità del drive di uscita. Una catena collega la pedivella alla ruota posteriore in un design pulito, simile a quello di una bici a scatto fisso. Con ciò dovrebbe eliminare  il salto della catena durando più a lungo, poiché i collegamenti non devono mai piegarsi.
La Revonte One ha una potenza nominale del motore da 250 Watt, come richiede la normativa dell’Unione europea per poter circolare liberamente su strada e nei boschi. Allo stesso tempo però produce 90 Nm di coppia e può raggiungere un picco di potenza da 1500 Watt. Tutte cose che fanno pensare che alla fine un’unità di azionamento integrata come questa potrebbe essere in grado di battere altre con coppia a cadenze più lente e con marce elevate.
Ma non è solo nel motore che Revonte One è innovativa. Infatti il computer di bordo integra un chip GPS e comunicazioni Bluetooth. Inoltre la App sviluppata dall’azienda finlandese è open source con moduli personalizzabili. Infatti il progetto di Revonte è quello di produrre prima di tutto software per altre aziende che decidano di dotare i propri mezzi del computer di bordo.

All things that suggest that in the end an integrated drive unit like this could be able to beat others with slower torque and with high gears.
But it is not only in the engine that Revonte One is innovative. In fact, the on-board computer integrates a GPS chip and Bluetooth communications. In addition, the App developed by the Finnish company is open source with customizable modules. In fact, Revonte's project is to produce first of all software for other companies that decide to equip their vehicles with the on-board computer.


For this reason it is easy to add a "find my bike" function to your smartphone app or a "notify me if the bike is moving and I am not" or a "remote wheel lock". And so use Revonte's manual commands or program it to accept other commands at will.
