Today let me introduce you San Marino.
San Marino is like a fairy tale, and at roughly 61 square kilometres, there are very few countries that can claim to be smaller! In fact, only the Vatican City, Monaco, Nauru and Tavalu have the distinction of being even smaller, making tiny San Marino the fifth smallest country in the world with a population of just 33,000 people.
A place that boasts incredible views, so why not read more about this amazing tour:
San Marino Tour

Elevation –Medium 1010m, Hard 1310m
For me San Marino resembles a sharks fin!
At over 740m, Monte Titano is the highest point in the immediate area with the historic medieval part of San Marino at the very top.
This is where our tour takes us today.
A route that will also follow part of the 2019 Giro d’Italia Time Trail stage.
The first 20km kilometres are relatively flat so a nice little warm up for the legs. Then we have a short climb up and through some of the most delightful and fascinating villages like San Clemente, Missano Monte and Coriano.
The spectacular views from these hills will leave you spellbound. From here we pick up the same route as the Time-Trial stage. its 14km of pretty much flat roads before we hit Montegardino and our final climb.
A climb of 11km climb with gradients at over 12%. A climb I’ve taken on many time with the last 3km all twists and turns before arriving in the historic centre of San Marino.
A climb I love as the decent is one of the best I’ve ever done.
I’ve had some great battles with clients on this climb, the only problem is that you simply can’t take your eyes away from the views.
It’s perfect for cyclists with limited traffic and stunning views.
The pain of getting to the top is 100% worth it!
With its 360 degree views, it’s a place you will never forget.
A truly amazing tour to a unique enclave outside of Italy!
A tour you will tell your friends about for years, so what are you waiting for???
